What To Expect
Start at Hafen Treptow and leave the hubbub of the city behind you for our five-hour "Around the Müggelberge" tour. Surrounded by idyllic park landscapes, the tour comes to the old town of Köpenick, where the "Hauptmann von Köpenick" relaxed in the town hall. The tranquil cruise continues to Berlin's largest lake, the Müggelsee. From the water, you see the panorama of the greater and lesser Müggelbergmountains, which have no less than 32 kilometres of forest paths and waterways. The 82 meter high Müggelturm gives a fascinating view of the Märkish countryside.
The journey continues along the Müggelspree to the New Venice water district, whose bridges and canals were built in the 20s. The tour then crosses the Dämeritzsee and proceeds along the Gosener canal to the Seddinsee and the oldest sports area of Berlin, the Grünau international regatta site. The tour concludes with the return along the Spree to Hafen Treptow.
