Experience Kilauea volcano up close and personal as you ride on your 21 speed mountain bike through lush rainforest and lava frozen in time.
Begin with a scenic, narrated drive to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Get an up close and personal glimpse of Kilauea and ride through a lush rainforest astride your 21-speed mountain bike up to the 4,000 foot elevation mark. This excursion also includes a lovely hike taking you through an actual lava tube and a stop at Jagger Museum to watch a video showing the volcano in action. Weary travelers may instead opt to ride along in the comfort of a van following the bikers. In either case, you will be sure to enjoy this fully narrated incredible adventure!
Our tour guides, Daniel and Eric were exceptionally knowledgeable about every aspect of the tour. The trip was great fun, the biking was not at all strenuous which suits all abilities (as seasoned cyclists we would have preferred more time on the bike). The trip included a walk through a lava tube which was amazing. We combined the trip with a lava tour in the evening. Our tour guide for that was Tyler who was brilliant. The only negative - we didn't see any flowing lava, (thank you mother nature!) but we were taken back to the Kilauea crater and saw it glowing. Thank you Daniel, Eric and Tyler for such a memorable tour!

Eric and Nathan conducted our tour, it was such a unique learning experience. Both my husband and I found the tour very well org...anized and informative, but most of all highly enjoyable. Thank you for such a wonderful time! more
This was the ideal way to see the sites of the Volcano Park. The tour guides (we had Mark and Eric) are friendly and very knowledg...eable; the tour is interactive and fun. The biking is great and is not too strenuous or too difficult for an inexperienced bike rider. I learned a lot from the tour guides, got a little exercise, saw the different volcano sites from various vantage points, walked through a lava tube and more. Overall, an exceptional experience that I cannot recommend enough! Mahalo! more
We enjoyed our day Klauea Bike Tour. From the pick-up in Hilo and back we had excellent tour guides. Dorian and Nate were both v...ery informative and accommodating. We were lucky enough to be the only two cyclists that day and got great attention. Dorian and Nate both were very knowledgeable and bent over backwards to make our day fun. Dorian took time to find examples of different kinds of lava rock to show us and also found some of Pele's hair to show us. He was also a good photographer and made several pictures for us. My husband especially enjoyed the cool fresh mint towel at the end of the ride. I would highly recommend this tour to others. more

We had the best day ever. We had a small group of 4 making each segment of the trip go faster which left time to see a couple extr...a craters not normally part of the itenerary. Our guides were knowledgeable and very friendly. Next trip to Hawaii we want to do the excursion down to the beach. more
