What To Expect
Our first stop is Loyola, where we will visit the shrine of harmonious proportions, built between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. We will visit the spectacular Basilica and see the house where Saint Ignatius was born.
We drive through Azpeitia to reach Getaria, where we will have free time to explore this charming fishing village located on a mountain slope. We will pass through the medieval passageway known as the Catrapona Arch, hidden beneath the San Salvador Church, with the La Piedad Chapel.
We will also visit Getaria's fishing port and walk down its narrow streets. We will head to one of the most popular summer locations in the Basque country since the nineteenth century.
Later, we arrive in San Sebastian. In this beautiful city we'll go on a comprehensive scenic tour to appreciate its streets, the La Concha beach and the view of the bay after we climb Igueldo. We will tour Casco Viejo and enjoy some free time for lunch before we return to Bilbao via the highway.
