What To Expect
Known as the Venice of the North, tour around the medieval city of Bruges! Take a step back into the past as you walk along the city's historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and admire many remarkable monuments.
With the entire city protected by UNESCO as a cultural heritage of mankind, a local guide will take you on a walking tour alongside the city's most beautiful sites. See the only preserved béguinage in Bruges, Princely Béguinage Ten Wijngaerde. Admire one of Michelangelo's masterpieces, Madonna and Child, at the Church of Our Lady. Stop by the Markt (Market Square) to have a glimpse of Bruges' prominent landmark, Belfry (Belfrot). A medieval bell tower, Belfry is also known as Halletoren (Tower of the Halls). Marvel at the Bruges City Hall, one of the oldest city halls in the Netherlands region, situated at Burg Square, the Church of the Holy Blood that houses a venerated relic of the Holy Blood and many more.
There will be time for lunch and free time in the city center. An optional boat tour along Bruges' picturesque canals can be taken during your free time.
