What To Expect
Explore two of Romania's most beautiful and historic regions in this 3 days and 2 nights tour of Bucovina and Transylvania. Visit the UNESCO listed painted monasteries, Dracula's castle and more. Soak in the rich history and culture these regions have to offer!
Day 1 - Bucharest - Bacau - Roman - Suceava - Radauti
Go through the Bucovina region and pass by several of the towns within the region. Take in Romania's scenic countryside as our guide tells you about the history of the region. We will then stop at Radauti for accommodations for the night.
Day 2 - Radauti - Sucevita - Moldovita - Voronet - Piatra Neamt
After breakfast, the tour will continue on to visit three of the famous painted monasteries - Sucevita, Moldovita and Voronet - the most famous of the monasteries and is also known as "the Sistine Chapel of the East.". These monasteries were built in the 15th and 16th century and feature vibrant frescoes depicting various religious scenes. After this, we will head on to Piatra Neamt for the night's accommodations.
Day 3 - Piatra Neamt - Lacu Rosu - Brasov - Bran - Bucharest
We will be heading out to tour the Transylvanian region after breakfast. Enjoy seeing some of Europe's best preserved medieval towns and the view of the Carpathian mountains. We will take a stop at Bran Castle which is reputed to be the castle of Count Dracula himself. The tour will conclude with our return to Bucharest.
