Curtea Veche Museum
Located at the center of the historic area of the city, the Old Princely Court, as it is also known, served as a residence for Vlad Tepes during his reign. Local lore says the infamous Dracula kept his prisoners in the dungeons under the court and extended under the city. However, all that remains today are just a few walls, arches, tombstones and a Corinthian column. Next to the palace is the Biserica Curtea Veche or the Old Court Church, that served as the coronation ground for Romanian princes. It is considered the oldest church in Bucharest.
