A splendid school and theater made more distinctive by the maestros who’ve taught and performed there including Ferenc Liszt (obviously), Béla Bartók, Zoltán Kodály, Jenõ Hubay, Ernõ Dohnányi, Leó Weiner, Dávid Popper, Bence Szabolcsi, Sándor Végh, Imre Waldbauer, Ede Zathureczky, and many more. Musical geniuses aside, the acoustic and art nouveau design are worthy of praise, and you’d do well to catch a performance when you visit Budapest.
