What To Expect
Start the day just outside the city of Buenos Aires and get to know the city of Tigre and the Parana River Delta, a peaceful area home to a wide variety of plants and animals.
On our way to Tigre we see the elegant residences located in the northern neighborhoods of Buenos Aires.
Upon arrival in the town of Tigre, we board a comfortable boat and sail along the beautiful delta to explore its islands. The life of the "isleños" (people who live on the islands of the Delta) is very special. The local guide will provide you with interesting information about their customs, culture and way of life.
After the 40-minutes boat tour, re-board the bus and travel to the charming small town of San Isidro. There, we will learn about its history and people. On the way back to Buenos Aires, we will pass by the Presidential Residence just outside the city in Quinta de Olivos.
The tour ends in downtown Buenos Aires so that you can have lunch in one of the many restaurants of the city.
Then meet your guide at your hotel for your afternoon City Tour of Buenos Aires.
Spend some time a local expert in this panoramic introduction to Buenos Aires. Your city exploration starts with the symbol of the city, the Obelisk. This giant monument was built in 1936 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the city.
One of the city's unique features is the many beautiful open squares of colonial Spanish descent. You'll fall in love with Plaza de Mayo, Plaza San Martin, or Plaza Congreso. The avenues are lined with equally impressive sights including favorites like Corrientes, Mayo and 9 de Julio.
The financial and commercial areas of Buenos Aires are home to many interesting local sights and you can't miss the home of the Argentinean's favorite past time, the numerous massive soccer stadiums throughout the city. Buenos Aires has a lively multicultural blend of generations-old families of a heavily European-South American blend and we will travel through their neighborhoods to give you a feel for the city and the people who call it home.
Discover architecture in historic neighborhoods like La Boca, San Telmo and Montserrat.
Enjoy the finer things in life in elegant neighborhoods like Palermo and Recoleta. Between the neighborhoods, you'll enjoy the beauty of nature interspersed at places like Lezama Park and Tres de Febrero Park.
After the tour, take some rest at your hotel before we pick you up for an unforgettable Tango night.
Choose between Cafe de los Angelitos and Tango Porteno for a great tango night out.
Cafe de los Angelitos is a witness to more than one hundred years of Buenos Aires history. Today at the forefront of Tango, the show of Cafe de los Angelitos takes you through the whole era of tango in a luxurious and distinguished way. Every night 21 artists on stage invite you to share this unique evening of music, dance and passion.
Tango Porteno recreates the golden age of the forties, a time unquestionably known as the reign of the tango, the great Argentinean passion. Travel through time to the glory days of Buenos Aires when tango was lived and breathed in every corner of the city. During this magical decade, the great orchestras of Canaro, Piazzolla, De Caro, Biagi, De Angelis, D'Agostino, and of course Troilo and Pugliesse, developed their full potential in a wholesome but demanding rivalry, challenging each other at the Chanteclair, Marabu, Tabaris and many others ballrooms. Enjoy this marvelous space where many stories were born.
Tango Porteno offers a 50 minutes complimentary group tango lesson for those who want to learn the basic steps.
Have a delicious three-course menu at both dining halls with unlimited beverages - we strongly recommend you the beef option for a truly Argentine experience. Then enjoy an amazing tango show with world class dancers and musicians.
