What To Expect
Face some of your worst underwater fears and experience a thrilling cage-dive to see the Great White Shark - one of the largest known macro-predatory fish in the seas.
We'll start the journey by taking a 2 and a half hour scenic drive to Kleinbaai. Upon arrival, you'll be selecting a wetsuit before heading out for breakfast.
You'll get to meet the diving crew for a short discussion on the Great Whites' anatomy and behavior. They will also explain how they work with the sharks in the area, and you'll get an idea on how we'll be spending the next couple of hours diving and viewing these magnificent predators in their habitat.
After a procedure briefing, the crew will start to 'chum' (throwing a mixture of tuna, sardines and fish oil into) the area and wait for the first glimpse of a Great White shark. The first batch of guests will get ready and enter the cage for about 20 minutes. The crew works with individual sharks leaving you with an enjoyable topside view during the wait.
Since guests don't actually dive into the ocean during the cage-dive, you don't have to be a qualified diver to participate in this activity!
