Be on intimate terms with a number of paintings from the Danish Golden Age (1800-1850). Showcased are the works of C.W. Eckersberg, Christian Købke, Wilhelm Marstrand, Michael and Anna Anker, P.S. Krøyer, Hammerhøi, and L.A. Ring. Responsible for the art collection are Tobacco factory owner H. Hirschsprung (1836-1908) and his wife Pauline. The paintings are displayed in a series of small rooms around three larger ones to create an intimate atmosphere.
