What To Expect
Siquijor is an island province of the Philippines located in the Central Visayas region. On this 4-day tour, discover the majestic island beyond its whispered myths of sorcery and the supernatural. Follow your expert guide and have fun visiting unspoiled and mostly unexplored natural wonders of Siquijor.
After a scenic ferry ride from Dumaguete, you will be picked up from Siquijor Port and proceed to Coco Grove Beach Resort, one of the most well-known resort in the island. Feel the cozy ambiance of the resort as you stroll along its well-manicured gardens or take a leisurely walk along its private white sand beach. Take an optional massage at the spa or go swimming in one of their large swimming pools. You may enjoy a sumptuous dinner at the restaurant before enjoying a comfortable accommodation at one of the resort cabanas.
After breakfast at the resort, travel to the suburbs and visit the massive 400-year old enchanted Balete Tree. A small spring sprouts at the bottom of the tree, where you may dangle your feet in for a free fish spa.
Stop at the town of Lazi and visit the San Isidro Labrador Parish Church, a national Cultural Treasure and one of the most outstanding cultural heritage churches in the country. Situated right next to it is the Lazi Convent, a historical landmark acclaimed to be Asia's largest and oldest convent.
Travel north and proceed to the Cambugahay Falls, a secluded and relatively unexplored multi-tiered waterfalls surrounded by lush rainforest.
After lunch, proceed to the majestic Salagdoong Beach. Have fun swimming into its crystal clear waters and lazing around its fine, white sand beach. Make your adventure more thrilling and jump into the ocean from 5-meter to 10-meter platforms built into the rocks.
Then, visit Capilay Springs, a natural spring converted into a swimming pool located in the town of San Juan. Take a refreshing dip into the cool waters or simply enjoy the shade provided by the surrounding lush tropical rainforest.
At the end of the day, you will travel back to Coco Grove Beach Resort where you will be accommodated for the night.
Start your day with a lovely breakfast at the resort and then follow your guide to the small mountain village of Cantabon, where you will find the Cantabon Cave. Trek into the cave and be astounded by the natural formation of stalactites and stalagmites and the undisturbed body of water running along the way. Your exhilarating excursion will then end with a transfer back to your resort.
After a hearty breakfast, you may spend the rest of the morning at your leisure. This tour will then conclude with a transfer back to Siquijor port in the afternoon.
