Voucher exchange place was on the opposite side of the road to the entrance. But after that, the entrance was pretty fast and smoo...th.

We had a voucher for 13:00 and arrived 15 min before time. We asked the stuff for help, he directed to the entrance and we got in ...very fast without any worry. The queue was pretty long, so we were glad that we booked in advance.
There was plenty of people around David sculpture, but you can walk around it and see it from every angle.
This is perfect for everybody who want's to do sightseeing efficiently.

It was great to skip the line at the accademia gallery because it saved so much time and energy that others waste by waiting in th...e very long line to see the masterpieces awaiting inside. Since we only had a day in Florence to see the sights skipping the line wasn't just a perk it was a necessity to our trip. Yes seeing the statue of David was amazing and impressive but there are not really that many items in the accademia to see so I only really took us 30 minutes to get through the museum. Had we waited an hour or more in the line wrapped around outside I would have been incredibly upset and disappointed to see what we saw. We are not art buffs so it may just be because it isn't as important to us to see the "real" David when there is a replica outside in the square by the uffizi gallery. more
