The tour begins with skip the line access to the Accademia Gallery where you will have the unique opportunity to marvel at Michelangelo's magnificent 17-foot marble masterpiece - David. Following the Accademia you'll embark on a walking tour of Florence as you visit Florence Cathedral, locally known as the Duomo, the famous 'Porcellino' statue at the leather market, as well as the evocative Ponte Vecchio.
Then take a break to relax and enjoy lunch at a restaurant of your choosing or a place your guide would be happy to recommend, before your afternoon skip the line tour at the Uffizi Gallery is set begins.
Once inside the Uffizi, you'll have the chance to behold the immediately recognizable works of Botticelli – 'Birth of Venus' and 'Spring' in person. Tour will be operated as a guaranteed Small Group Tour with a maximum of 25 guests.
On Sundays, during religious festivities and on the afternoon tours, visits inside the Cathedral (Duomo) may be restricted in which case a detailed tour will be given from outside.
*On the first Sunday of the month, the Accademia visit will be replaced by an extended walking tour which includes the Mercato di San Lorenzo (leather market), Ponte Vecchio, Pitti Palace (from outside) and Santo Spirito area.
It is the individual responsibility of all visitors to arrive at the tour departure points.
Entrance into some churches may require a dress code. The tour operator cannot be held responsible for entry denied due to improper dress.
This tour involves a fair amount of walking, comfortable shoes are recommended.
No photography is permitted at the Accademia and Uffizi Galleries. Food and drinks are not allowed inside the galleries.
Extra measures may be implemented at some venues due to heightened global security. As a result, we may experience delays in getting through mandatory security checks when entering these venues. Extra measures may also restrict the size of bags that can be brought inside. To avoid disruptions or possible denied entry, we strongly suggest that you avoid bringing large purses, bags, or backpacks on your tour.
We regret that we are unable to accommodate guests with wheelchairs or mobility impairments and those with pushchairs, buggies, strollers or baby carriages on our group tours.
