Discover the very elegant city of Weisbaden with its precious villas, historic buildings, famous promenades and the impressive Casino. Enjoy a ride up the Neroberg mountain in the oldest water ballast-driven cogand-rack railway in Germany.

Be amazed by the panoramic view of the city from the top of the mountain and visit the famous Russian church, which is now known as the Greek Chapel. Continue on and cross the river Rhine to Mainz, the old city with a 2000 years old heritage, dating back to the ancient Romans. Mainz is now the capital of the state Rhineland-Palatinate.

Upon arrival, the fantastic baroque buildings will take you back to the times of the electors. Walk through the old city center with roomy squares and crooked allies, half-timbered houses and baroque churches. Pass by the Gutenberg Museum, the origin of the printing press. Then head straight to the The Collegiate Church of St. Stephan to see the fantastic blue glass windows of Marc Chagall.

End the tour with a visit of the 1000 years old, mighty cathedral of St. Martin, also known as the Mainz Cathedral.
