What To Expect
We will pick you up at your hotel at 5:15 a.m., with breakfast on route. We will arrive at 9:30 a.m. in Xocomil Water Park.
The Xocomil Water Park takes its name from the Tz'utujil and K'aqchikel voice that translates as "strong wind blowing over the water," actually a phenomenon observed every day around 5 p.m. in Lake Atitlan.
Xocomil is not only the biggest water park of Guatemala, it is also the most visited and most complete. Designed around a Mayan pyramid, this fantastic 77,300-square-meter amusement park provides a full day of fun for the entire family.
Xocomil also includes seven water rides that will thrill you to the core, including high-speed slides that are 148 meter long, "El Caracol," which takes riders through a dark tunnel that propels them into a big funnel, and "Nido de Serpientes," which has seven different courses of twisting flumes.
The park also features four different pools, two of them with waves, one for children and one for adults. The park also has a flowing river that provides guests a fun way to get around the park by floating on a tube. Along most of the tubes are items such as Mayan masks and items that represent Guatemala's Mayan heritage.
When you arrive in Retalhuleu (theme parks area), you will have approximately 6 hours to spend at the theme park. After your day of Xetulul fun, board the transport for a relaxing and stress-free ride back to your Guatemala City hotel. We depart at 3:30 p.m. to your Guatemala City hotel via Antigua, Guatemala.
