What To Expect
After pick-up from port or hotel, head to Long Tien Pagoda under the Poem Mountain, a tranquil place where you can enjoy a fresh atmosphere.
Continue on to the streets - see some amazing sights, such as Buddhist monks on motorbikes, or the local butcher delivering pigs on his motorbikes.You might even get to see local florists creating intricate magnificent floral arrangements and much more.
Head next to Ha Long Market, where you can stroll and taste an amazing Ha Long specialty - Cha Muc (squid paste cake)!
Next, you will be taken through a residential area, the village of Hung Thang, where you see how the locals live. Here you'll get a feel of their daily lives. Visit also Traditional Sculpture Coal Workshop, famous for its fantastic products considered as black gold.
At 12:00 noon, hop aboard the junk boat, where our on-board chef will give you a demonstration cooking on the sun-desk for lunch. You will get to prepare, cook and enjoy lunch while cruising under the blue sky in a mystical landscape of limestone islets.
Take in the magnificent views as you head on to Ha Long Bay. Caves may be visited at your request.
