A glimpse into the United States’s ambitious space mission program, Space Center Houston has been considered the city’s finest tourist offering since 1992. It exhibits the world’s best collection of spacesuit and astronaut gear, along with other interactive galleries. The visitor center of NASA’s Johnson Space Center, it illustrated Houston’s important role in space exploration: it is home to the Mission Control, to many astronauts, and to historic shuttle launches.
