What To Expect
Hue was the seat of the Imperial Vietnamese court, when the capital was established to govern southern Vietnam. It is situated on the banks of the Perfume River, and boasts delicious imperial cuisine and elegant, inspiring vestiges from Vietnam's past.
After pick-up, from Chan May port, transfer to Hue City to explore the Purple Forbidden City. We'll continue to XQ Hand Embroidery Workshop, a gallery of Vietnamese tradition that features delicately handwoven fabrics embroidered by skilled technicians.
We'll stop for Hue's specialty lunch to be served at a local restaurant before heading for a boat trip on the picturesque Perfume River to visit Hue's best-known religious site, Thien Mu Pagoda. During the 30-minute boat ride, we'll pass by the elaborate mausoleums of emperor Minh Mang.
From the tomb, we'll take a car for our transfer back to Chan May port to continue with your cruise.
