What To Expect
Explore the Scottish Highlands and Orkney Isles in a 3-day trip from Inverness and discover the magic and mystery of the Orkney Isles as you embark on an unique island adventure taking in its breathtaking landscapes, remarkable historical sites and notable attractions.
Head north via Inverness and board on a ferry to the enchanting Orkney Isles. Once you arrive, take in the beautiful scenery and go directly to the wonderful Italian Chapel, built by Italian prisoners of war. See the famous Churchill Barriers, constructed to protect the British fleet from submarines. Overnight in Kirwall.
Immerse yourself into ancient history as you spend the day exploring the island's prehistoric marvels, such as the Maes Howe, a Neolithic chambered cairn and passage way, Skara Brae, the famed stone-built Neolithic village, Standing Stone of Stenness, a Neolitihic monument, and the Ring o'Brodgar, a Neolithic henge and stone circle. End the day with a visit to the glorious St Magnus Cathedral. Overnight in Kirkwall.

This tour has a 5 passenger minimum requirement for operation and is subject to cancellation if this minimum is not met. Please call at least 24 hours prior to departure to confirm schedule.
Last minute cancellations due to bad weather conditions, unforeseen events and acts of God are possible.
Children 3 years old and above must be able to show a proof of age, such as passport, on the day of departure.
Bringing of bulky and large luggage is not allowed. Overnight passengers are only allowed with a 55x40x20 cm size luggage weighing 15 kg.
