What To Expect
Mount Tai is one of the five greatest mountains in China. In ancient times, the mountain was always a shrine for the emperors to offer ceremonial sacrifices to heaven and earth. Architectures in the mountain are mainly Ming and Qing styles, with a combination of paintings and stone sculptures. The sunrise is one of the most spectacular scenes of Mount Tai.
The day begins as you are picked-up from your hotel at around 07:30. Upon reaching the foot of Mount Tai, you will take a shuttle to the Central Heaven Gate where you will then take a cable car ride to the summit. As the cable car takes you to the top of the mountain, enjoy the spectacular view of the surrounding landscape. At the mountain top, we will have a tour of the celestial street.
After lunch, we will visit Daguan Peak and see stone monuments set up by the Emperor of the Han Dynasty. Afterwards, we'll ride the cable car back down the mountain. At the end of your tour, you will be transferred to the Tai'an train station where you may take a bullet train to Shanghai or Beijing.
