Join a small group tour on a horseback journey through a sprawling acreage while learning of the paniolo tradition. Discover the influence that Hawaiian cowboys came to have on local culture, all while riding a well-trained horse on a free-form tour that will take you through rolling fields and deeply carved valleys, stopping at spectacular lookouts to enjoy the ancient, natural beauty of Kauai.

Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
Riding double on one horse is not allowed.
Cantering and galloping are not permitted on horseback.
This activity is not wheelchair accessible.
If less than 4 participants are booked, the activity may not operate.
Children 8 years old and above can participate in this activity.

Rain ponchos are provided. However, in the event of inclement weather at the time of departure, rides may be rescheduled at the discretion of the ranch.

A GoPro is available to rent for $39.95 upon arrival at Princeville Ranch. Guests will get to keep the SD card of the tour.

What if I do not have proper riding shoes?
Rental riding shoes are available at $5 per pair. Just request them upon check-in and pay at the shop.
