What To Expect
See the main sights of both Kyoto and Nara, all in one day! Visit Nijo Castle, the Kyoto residence of the Tokugawa era shoguns, and the Golden Pavilion, a gold-leaf covered structure that houses sacred relics of Buddha. Take a stroll through the Kyoto Imperial Palace and see its elegant interiors.

Pick ups are available from selected Kyoto hotels.
Children 5 years old and below are free of charge, provided they sit on an adult's lap. If they need a seat, they will be charged.
You are required to fill out the form (your name, sex, age, nationality) when you enter the Kyoto Imperial Palace.
Please provide advance notice if your party consists of 5 or more Japanese citizens. Your party's entry to the Kyoto Imperial Palace may be denied if advance notice is not given.
*The Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed every Monday (Tuesday if Monday is a National Holiday), on 28 December 2016 to 4 January 2017 and whenever there is an Imperial Household event. On these days, tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead.
On Tuesdays (Wednesday if Tuesday is a national holiday) in January, July, August, and December, Nijo Castle is closed. The tour will visit Ryoanji Temple or Daitokuji Daisen-in Temple instead.
Transportation service to Karasuma Kyoto Hotel, Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto, and Hotel Monterey Kyoto is not available on the days of Gion Festival (July 14 to 16) due to traffic restrictions.
At Kasuga Shrine, the tour does not include entrance to areas requiring additional admission.
The tour may not visit Nara Nagomikan if it is closed or traffic conditions and other operational concerns.
