A historic district in Kobe, Kitano Ijinkan District has the best preserved Western-style houses in Japan. Take a stroll around the district taking you back to Japan's Meiji and Taisho era. Learn more about Japan's history from your local guide as you check out the former mansions of foreign merchants and diplomats, coffee shops, restaurants and many more.
Take a break and savor a delightful Japanese-Western buffet lunch.
Continue to Meriken Park situated in Kobe's port area. Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere as you wander around the waterfront park featuring unique works of art. Have a glimpse of the Kobe Port Tower, Kobe Maritime Museum and Great Hanshin Earthquake Memorial.
From Meriken Park, head towards one of Nada's old brewery, Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Museum. Browse through the life-sized replicas exhibited at the Hakutsuru Brewery Museum, look into the fascinating traditional sake-making methods and enjoy a free sake tasting.
The tour will end upon arrival to Kyoto Station.
