Meet your English speaking guide at the main entrance of Matriz “Virgen Milagrosa” church in Kennedy Park. Take the local bus and head downtown. Along the way, learn a few Spanish words from your local guide.
Begin your walking tour with a visit to the Bolivar Hotel and learn its history before heading out to explore the 'City of Kings'.
Go on a walk along Jiron de la Union, the pedestrian avenue linking Plaza San Martin to Plaza de Armas. Head off the beaten track and travel to the central market. Stop along the way at the San Pedro de Lima church. Built in the 17th century it is still an important spiritual center for many Limenos.
Dive off the beaten path and make a short stop at San Pedro de Lima Church, an infamous Lima landmark before making your way to Lima's central market. On display is fresh produce from all over Peru - from the jungle to the coast and the Altiplano. Learn about local dishes, typical drinks and fresh juices.
Take a walk through the Plaza Bolivar. This is the perfect place to hear anecdotes on the history of the country and all of South America from your guide. Visit the Monasterio San Francisco, home to large underground catacombs.
Finally, stop to rest and try a traditional Pisco Sour in the place where it was invented (or so they claim!).
The tour comes to an end in Plaza de Armas.

Tour will be operated as a guaranteed Small Group Tour with a maximum of 12 guests.
As Latin Americans can be very concerned of appearance, it is recommended for guests to be conservative in their outfits. Outside of beach areas, halter tops and very short shorts should not be worn. When visiting churches or religious sites shoulders and knees should be covered.
At the end of the tour, guests are free to continue their own personal exploration. The guide can assist in returning to the hotel.
