West End’s most crowded street market, the Berwick Street Market was erected in the 1840s. It witnessed one of its famous traders Jack Smith, introducing grapefruit to London in 1890. Today it sells the freshest and most affordable produce, perfectly complementing the street’s growing number of cafes and restaurants. Down the southern end, you’ll encounter Raymond’s Revue Bar, which hosts an anticipated festival of erotica since 1958.
