The headquarters of a five-branch system, the Imperial War Museum is more than a storage house of bombs, tanks, artillery and engines. It tells the numerous tales of warfare from the 20th century onwards, all those conflicts involving the British Empire and the nation itself. It has a massive collection, for instance, of interviews and recordings of individuals affected by said wars instead of solely focusing on those waging the wars. Wartime paintings, photographs, films, and other memorabilia are in full stock here as well.
