Description

Drive past some of London's most famous landmarks including Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, arrive at the Tower of London at the middle drawbridge and meet our very own Yeoman Warder. Visit this world heritage site before it opens to the public. The Beefeater will give a private guided tour explaining the history behind this fortress of imprisonment and torture. See the Crown Jewels before exploring on your own. See Traitors Gate, the armories or the Bloody Tower and keep an eye out for the famous Ravens. Rumor has it that if the Ravens leave the Tower the monarch will fall!

Then head to The Mall to watch the Changing of the Guard ceremony as one of the Queen's Household Regiments march from St. James Palace to Buckingham Palace dressed in their world famous tunics and busbies.

Next, take a short boat trip on the River Thames and enjoy excellent views of St. Paul's Cathedral and Shakespeare's Globe and then take a break for lunch. After lunch, have a photo stop at Westminster Abbey.

The afternoon part of the tour begins with a visit to St Paul's Cathedral. Explore the masterpiece designed by Wren in 1673 with a professional guide. Listen to the 1695 organ that Mendelssohn once played and visit the tombs of Nelson and Wellington.

Standing at an amazing 135 meters above the center of London, the London Eye is the world's highest observation wheel and offers magnificent panoramic views - on a clear day it is possible to see as far as Windsor Castle!
