Journey through the amazing underwater world of the SEA LIFE London Aquarium and see how the Aquarium takes care of over 600 marine and fresh water species!
There's a lot going on beneath the surface at SEA LIFE London and now you can team up with our expert aquarist guides to go deep behind the scenes and discover how we care for over 600 marine and fresh-water species. You'll have privileged access to the working areas usually closed to the public where you can learn about our extensive breeding, research and conservation programs and see how the fish food is prepared and even help out at feeding time!
So, if you want an even deeper experience, immerse yourself in our Behind the Scenes tour.
With your priority entrance ticket, you can spend the rest of your time discovering the many strange, beautiful and fascinating creatures of the deep at the SEA LIFE London! Prepare for astonishingly close views of everything from Gentoo Penguins to tropical sharks. To get any closer you'll have to get wet!
One of the most popular and dramatic displays at SEA LIFE London is the revamped shark reef. Encounter sinister Sand Tiger sharks, Bow Mouths, Black Tips and Grey Reefs (and a shoal of less menacing fish to keep them company)! It's as close as you can be to these fascinating and eerie creatures of the deep without getting wet!
CLAWS will bring together a spectacular collection of the "B-movie monsters" of the marine world, from the gigantic Japanese Spider crab (which can grow to 12 feet long) and the colorful Rainbow crab to the humble blue lobster (they only go pink if they're cooked!). Built like miniature armored tanks, these powerful crusty creatures of the deep are natural warriors and guests can inspect them at close quarters in a newly themed area featuring quirky displays designed to resemble giant crabs.
A mechanical model shows the workings of a crab's claw and interactive features enable guests to feel the textures of their shells. Specially created B-Movie style displays add to the fun, including low and pop-up windows allowing visitors to examine these alien like animals from every angle. Add in fun, informative graphics and vibrant theming and you have a monster new addition to one of London's most popular attractions.
Explore a lost temple and peer through a tangle of roots and vines to find the mysterious sea dragons, the curious alligator pipefish and the vivid yellow seahorses. Guests can watch these mystical creatures and learn interesting facts about them.
Not only will all guests have a fun and interactive experience, SEA LIFE London provides the UK with a leading center of excellence on marine management, conservation, preservation and education in the heart of the capital.
In addition to fostering conservation through enhanced awareness, SEA LIFE regularly makes a more direct contribution towards conservation and marine animal welfare.
