What To Expect
Explore the Southern California city of Los Angeles, or L.A. as popularized. Get to know the best sites and tourist attractions in L.A. as well as its hidden gems. With a drive from Hollywood to Santa Monica, you will be entertained with the sights and sounds that the city has to offer.
This city tour will begin with the tour of Hollywood. Known for being the birthplace of American film, Hollywood is globally known for producing movie classics since 1910. You will get a chance to see the Chinese Theatre (a cinema place which houses the handprints, footprints, and autographs of many well-known Hollywood celebrities) and the Dolby theatre (a live-performance auditorium and venue for the Oscars). These theatres are decorated with the famous Hollywood sign as their backdrop.
Next on the itinerary is a visit to some of the local hotspots in Hollywood. You will be able to walk through a hidden path which leads to a beautiful garden located at Hollywood boulevard.
A local bus ride to Fairfax will take you to the very first Farmers Market where fresh produce such as fruits, vegetables, and meat are sold. Sit down eateries, food stalls, and fresh produce shop surround this area, making it a historic landmark in Los Angeles. Enjoy your lunch during your visit to this market with many options to choose from.
After lunch, you will go on a quick bus ride to Beverly Hills. Here, you will be able to get a taste of the delectable flavors from a famous cupcake bakery. A visit to a local media museum comes next where you can feast your eyes on some costumes, props, and sets. Take a stroll down to Rodeo Drive, the home of the most expensive store in the world, Bijan. Other luxury stores surrounding this area include Coco Chanel, Gucci, Cartier, Armani, and Louis Vuitton.
After a tour of Beverly Hills, you will ride a bus to West Los Angeles where you will get to see UCLA neighborhoods and high-rises surrounding Westwood and Brentwood.
In Santa Monica, continue your tour of the city while riding a bicycle as you soak in the Southern California sun. As you bike from the Santa Monica Pier to the Venice beach, admire the daily activities of the locals, fuss of the other tourists, and the busy shops across the 10 kilometer boardwalk between the two points. The Venice beach features many sights ranging from a storm of street performers to carnival-style souvenir and food shops.
Last on the itinerary of this trip is your return to the Santa Monica Pier where you will be given two choices on what to do next. The first option would be to find public transportation to the next destination of your choice, and the second would be to explore the Third Street Promenade of Santa Monica for a nightlife experience you will never forget.
