What To Expect
Start your journey via a coach ride from Lucerne through the countryside to reach the charming region of Interlaken. After a break and a brief exploration in Interlaken, you will board a cogwheel train for a spectacular ride to Kleine Scheidegg where the astounding view of the Eiger North Face can be seen from your window.
Upon reaching the top, you will be free to explore the area and see the attractions Kleine Scheidegg has to offer.Located at the foot of an impressive mountain panorama, Kleine Scheidegg offers breathtaking views of the triple peaks of Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau.
Various hiking activities such as the Jungfrau Eiger Walk which opens late June to October originate from the Kleine Scheidegg mountain pass. The remarkable rock and ice masses of the Eiger Glacier can also be seen. There are also restaurants where you can buy and taste delicious regional alpine dishes.
In the afternoon you will meet with your guide again and descend via train to Lauterbrunnen. Along the way you will pass the car-free holiday village of Wengen known for thrilling events such as the Lauberhorn Races and the Jungfrau Marathon.
After a day of exploration and enjoyment, you will return to Lucerne in the evening.
