What To Expect
Switzerland is the alpine country in Europe. On this 2-day hiking tour, take a breath of fresh air in the scenic Swiss Alps . With an expert guide who will organize a tour which will suit your experience and fitness level, embark on a unique excursion to the most important hiking destinations in the area.
An activity which requires good to excellent fitness levels, you will need to be sure-footed and should not have fear of heights. Cross majestic mountain passes, follow stunning trails to beautiful mountain lakes and admire the rich flora and fauna in this part of Central Switzerland.
Visit some of the most impressive hiking destinations in the region. Trek through Pilatuskette mountain range, Rigi, a veritable paradise for walking and hiking, Wildspitz, Walenstöcke, and Surenenpass. The nearly car-free pre-alpine roads like Gätterli, Ächerli, or Hilferen will invite you to clamber up by bike. In winter, the impressive cross country skiing trail from Andermatt to Gomstal is also a must-try.
After registration, a consultation will take place regarding options for extensions, grades of difficulty, meeting point and start time, overnight accommodations, deferral dates, or alternative programs in the event of precarious weather conditions. An equipment list, travel tips, and advice on maps round off the preparations.
