About Luxembourg Cathédrale de Notre-Dame

Constructed in the early 1600s, the Notre-Dame Cathedral is a Gothic structure that houses a number of valuables: the sarcophagus of Count of Luxembourg John I of Bohemia, the royal family vault, and a fascinating treasury. Pilgrims flock to this cathedral during the annual Octave of Our Lady of Luxembourg, which is held on the fifth Sunday following Easter.
