What To Expect
Our Egyptologist guide will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor, to transfer you to the west bank where you can see the Valley of the Kings. Stand in awe of its magnificent and grandiose architecture which was used for burial; there are many kings buried in this valley. The most known tombs are the ones of King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tutankhamon, Ramesses VI, King Mrenptah and Amenhotep II (you will visit 3 tombs).
Then visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, the only Pharaonic woman who reigned during ancient Egypt. You will stop by the Colossi of Memnon for about 15 minutes, and also at the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III.
Now we will drive back to the east bank in Luxor, and have lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, we'll continue the tour by visiting Karnak Temple, one of the greatest examples of worship structures in history, dedicated to the god Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu.
End your tour by visiting the Temple Of Luxor. It was built by Amenhotep III in 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and it was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. After the tour ends, you will be taken back to your hotel.
