About Manila Hidden Valley

Hidden Valley is in the town of Alaminos, situated between Mount Banahaw and Mount Makiling, and is just an hour and a half drive from Manila (75 kilometers south of Makati). It’s a secluded resort that was built inside an extinct volcano created by a volcanic upheaval thousands of years ago. The resort is 300 feet inside a 110-acre crater, which is covered entirely by lush vegetation and century-old trees. Cracks have formed on the crater walls, from which the purest mineral water gushes forth to form into hundreds of small and large pools. Giant trees and ferns create one big canopy that filters sunlight to cast a luminous and hushed atmosphere over everything. There are over 100 species of plants, many of which are endangered elsewhere, thriving at the Hidden Valley. There are so many ways one can commune with nature. Discover the gorge where waterfalls roar down. Relax in the embrace of giant roots. Follow the by one of the big waterfalls to a deep mysterious, hole on top of a hill, where strange white bats used to dwell. Swim in the rejuvenating waters of natural pools. Then enjoy a moonlit/starlit dinner in an al fresco restaurant.
