About Marrakech Agdal Gardens

This garden south of the Royal Palace has a history that dates back to the 12th century. Its layout is made for wandering and beating the summer heat, with numerous wells and ditches. You won’t miss the pools—they’re right at the center. Lush with fruit-bearing trees (olive, citrus, etc.), the garden draws its water through underground channels from the foot of the Atlas Mountains.
