A representative is going to be waiting for you at Montevideo's airport, harbour or central bus stop to take you to your hotel. You can choose between 4 different hotels:Crystal Palace 3-star hotel, which offers room service, a cafe, a restaurant and a gym. On the other hand Regency way 4-star hotel, offers a parking service and WI-FI internet connection, as well as tablets and touch-screens in the lobby, a fitness room, a sun-deck and a swiming-pool. Finally, Radisson Victoria Plaza 5-star hotelhas a casino, a spa, an indoor-swimingpool and a 24-hour room service.
In the afternoon, we will pick you up from your hotel for a guided city tour of Montevideo, in which you will learn about the fascinating history of this multicultural city, a mix between Spanish colonisation and Portuguese cultural influence. We will visit the Independence Square, where you can see the monument of Jose Artigas, an important military leader during the independence war against the Spanish royalists. See also the imposing building of Salvo Palace, one of the most important of the city, which was once built to be a hotel, but nowadays it has private offices and particular residences. Admire its picturesque design and its incredibly big dimensions.
Marvel at the famous Puerta de la Ciudadela, the entrance to the charming old Montevideo. It used to be the door of the city, to defend it from Portuguese invasions in the colonial period, and it is also our start point to visit the old Montevideo. We will see theMatriz Square, the centre of the Colonial City, where you can admire a calm that makes you forget you are in the middle of the city. From there you can see the historical Cabildo, centre of the colonial government, and the Cathedral, as in each Spanish-colonial square. Don't miss the beautiful handicrfts marketand enjoy the cheerful atmosphere, with the artists, the music and the artisans.
After that, we will take you to El Prado neighbourhood, one of the most beautiful of the city, residence place of the 19th century aristocracy, which conserves the typical charm of its luxurious past. Marvel at its roses and Botanical Gardens, the statues and the picturesque bridge: a very nice and quiet walk!
After passing by the legendary Centenario Stadium, the most important stadium of Uruguay, we will finish our tour next to Rio de la Pata's river, the typical Rambla of Montevideo, where you will see the neighbourhoods of Pocitos, Buceo, Malvin, Punta Gorda y Carrasco. Enjoy some free time to explore the city at your own rhythm, and enjoy a delicious lunch in one of the typical restaurants in front of the river.
After breakfast, feel free to enjoy Montevideo on your own: it is the perfect opportunity to explore the monuments and to admire each detail of the charming architecture in the colonial city, or just relax in the hotel and have a delicious lunch.
In the afternoon, learn how to dance Tango at Joven Tango Foundation, which promotes the charming culture of tango since 1977 with tango lessons for all ages, for begginers and confirmed dancers.
After that, prepare to live a pure tango evening, because we will go toFun Fun Bar, one of the most frecquented bars in Montevideo, famous for having the best atmosphere to enjoy an evening in Montevideo. There you will be received with a drink, and you will appreciate the talent of the best tango dancers on stage: feel the passion and the charm of this unique rhythm, globally famous and recognized, and join the party for a memorable evening.
Then feel free to end your evening in Montevideo as you prefer: have a delicious dinner, a typical local ice-cream or just explore the animated down-town.

In the evening experience a memorable dinner with a Tango and Candombe Show at El Milongon
Sample the best of the local cuisine with an open bar before a great show including the classic rhythms of Uruguay. You will see dancers, singers and even typical colonial characters. Enjoy the cheerful atmosphere and be part of an authentic local Carnival party you won't forget.
