What To Expect
Soccer is an important part of Uruguay culture: you will learn more about this fascinating tradition and what it represents for locals in this complete soccer tour guided with experts in the most emblematic places of this exciting sport.
We will pick you up from your hotel, and we will visit the famous Centenario Stadium and its museum, the only historical monument related to soccer in the world since 1983! The stadium was inaugurated in 1930, date in which Uruguay celebrated a hundred years from its independence, and nowadays it is a real national pride for locals in Montevideo.
In the museum you will see important pieces that tell the history of local soccer from the beggining, with the most symbolic personalities. Listen at your soccer specialist and all its anecdotes about this fascinating world!
