“Cannot praise our tour guide, Christa, more highly. There was no rushing from place to place, she took her time to explain things (switching easily between English and French) and accommodated to our individual needs beautifully. ...Sue A., Australia – See more reviews
What To Expect
We will start the city and island tour by exploring the small and narrow streets, where we will have many photo opportunities in the city. Our tour guide will tell us all about the labyrinth-like old town as well as its small port and churches. We will see the famous wind-mills and look for Petros The Pelican, the mascot of Mykonos.
Then, we will explore the island by bus and visit some of the most famous beaches and the inner landscape. We will see fishermen and kaikis by the shore, and stop by the small private chapels and houses built in typical cycladic style.
In the second main village of Mykonos, Ano Mera, an idyllic place 6km from town, guests will be given some free time for a stroll around the traditional square and visit the 16th century monk monastery, Panagia Tourliani.
Our next stop is Kalafatis beach, where there is time to relax a little and have a refreshment, before going back to town and ending the tour with a fantastic view of town and the neighboring islands.
