What To Expect
Get up close and personal with the happenings during the 9/11 attack as you relive it on your visit to the One World Tower. Take the chance to discover the 9/11 Memorials and the surrounding locations that are significant to the catastrophe.
Start off the tour by heading out to St. Paul's Chapelwhere the families and friends of the victims came to post pictures of their missing loved ones and to pray for their safety or location as well. You will get to see handmade cards and personal memorabilia on your visit.
Come to the American Express 11 Tears Memorial, a memorial dedicated to the 11 American Express employees whom were killed during the attack. Take time to visit the majestic, recently-restored Winter Garden, a venue which was also destroyed during the attack.
Next, explore the 9/11 Memorial where you will be able to visit the Twin Reflecting Pools which is made special by having the names of all the victims of the attack engraved on it. Each year, every victim is offered a single rose on their name during their birthday. See the miraculous Survivor's Tree which survived even after the attack.
The Fireman's Memorial will give you the opportunity to pay tribute to the men and women who risked their lives for others during the attack.
Your visit to the One World Observatory will serve as the highlight of your tour. The pre-reserved tickets will allow you to enter the observatory without experiencing the long queue. You will be guaranteed an independent visit to the observatory.
As you enter the lobby, you will be greeted with videos depicting the construction of the observatory. Get inside the skypod, a visual representation of what New York looked like from the 1600s until today as you ascend from the ground floor to the 102th in just 42 seconds! This presentation was created together with Universal Studios.
End the day by reaching the top of the One World Observatory to admire the panoramic view of the city and its impressive skyline.
