Come and visit the world famous Statue of Libertyand the Ellis Island within a day along with a knowledgeable tour guide!

Start off by visiting the sites around Battery Park such as the Castle Clinton National Monument, Pier A Harbor House, the American Merchant Mariner's Memorial, the Sphere, and the New York Korean War Veteran's Memorial. These sights are not given much attention even though they have highly significant roles in history. Your guide will explain the history and significance of each site that you will be visiting.

Next, hop aboard the ferry on your way to the statue. Priority boarding will give you the opportunity to enjoy the ride as well as the scenic views from your seat. Upon arrival at the statue's island, go on a guided tour of its pedestal. Learn why the reason why this statue was gifted to the United States by France and how it was erected on the island.

Once your tour of the statue and its island is finished, head back to the ferry to be transported to Ellis Island. Trace the footsteps of over 12 million immigrants who had docked here in high hopes of entering the city of New York with their families. You will learn about the immigration process in the past as well as the purpose of the Stairs of Separation in order for you to understand the island's two by-lines: "The Island of Hope" and "The Island of Tears". Ask curious questions from your guide as you pass by several interactive displays depicting the lives of the immigrants.

The tour will end in Ellis Island, giving you time to stay a while longer at the island or to return to the ferry going back to the city with your guide.
