What To Expect
Leave behind the hustle and bustle of New York City, as you ride through New Jersey and Pennsylvania to arrive at the city of Philadelphia - also known as the City of Brotherly Love.
Upon arrival in Philadelphia, we begin with a scenic tour of the town where we first visit the Liberty Bell. We then take you to visit Constitution Square and the historic Congress Hall. Other sites include Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Friendship Gate in Chinatown, and Independence Hall, one of the many symbols of freedom in America. We then head on to Elfreth's Alley - the oldest inhabited street in America – for a quick stroll before continuing on with the rest of the tour.
You will notice a change of scene and pace as we make our way to Lancaster County, home of the Amish community. After a break for lunch at the Amish Marketplace, you will enjoy an authentic Amish buggy ride through the farm country. Learn how the community lives without the benefit of modern technology, no electricity, running water, telephone service or appliances. Before leaving Philadelphia, we will see the famous "Rocky Steps." Finally, we depart in the late afternoon for an evening arrival in New York City.
