We were picked up on time by a very professional and knowledgeable driver who explained everything we needed to know before entering Pearl Harbor. We had time to visit the museum buildings which included many relics from the era and the gift shop before entering the building where a short film is seen. We then boarded a boat piloted by military personnel who brought us to the memorial. Once we entered the memorial we we asked to keep conversations to a whisper to respect the souls below. It was a very humbling moment for us all. We were then taken back to shore and boarded our bus to head to the Missouri. We were told NOT to take any pictures while driving they the military base until we got to the Missouri, There are lots of places to have a quick meal before and after boarding the Ship. Once you're on the ship you can go out on your own or take a free guided tour which I would suggest. because all of the important areas like where the surrender took place. After the tour you will still have time to walk about the ship and to go beneath to view crew quarters and other areas of interest. After leaving the ship we boarded our bus, picked up our bags and purses at the locker area (not allowed at Pearl Harbor) and headed to the Punch Bowl for a short drive thru to pay our respects then to our hotels. This was a very informative tour done by a great drive who also acted as the tour guide. He didn't miss a thing and made us feel that we were back un the day with his presentation. His company would be very proud of him!!

This a very moving experience, having a father who was in the armed services during WWII and mother who worked at Hunters Point, S...an Francisco. I just found out she was on the USS Missouri to deliver papers just prior it leaving San Francisco on its trip to the Midway for the siging of the peace treaty with the Japanese. It is a history lesson for all, adults and children to know in order not to repeat history. The tour guide was excellent, he had a vast knowledge of history of Pearl Harbor, the Arizona and the other ships lost that fateful day. Being form Aeia, he also had avast knowledge of the Hawaiian history as well. Excellent time. more
My family & I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. My husband is a HUGE history buff, my son - age 15 even enjoyed it, along with my... parents (Around 60 yrs. old) and my husband & myself (late 30's) Therefore, you can see that it was interesting for all ages. It was a very spooky feeling standing on the Arizona Memorial, looking down at the sunken ship, seeing the oil still leaking into the water, and reading all of the names of those who perished that awful, fateful day. We also got to meet & take pictures with two of the survivors from that day. They were inside, sitting near the museum signing autographs. One of them was born in Macomb, Illinois, about 50 miles from our hometown of Rockford, so that was very surprising! We had an awesome guided tour aboard the USS Missouri. Took about 90 minutes, we even got to see inside. Saw the bunks where the sailors slept, the control room, radio room, the table where the declaration was signed to end the war, the "mess hall", stood under the g more
I want to comment that the driver, Ben, the guide /bus driver, assigned to our tour was the best. He made our trip enjoyable and i...nformative. Our entire group enjoyed his sense of humor and knowledge of Arizona and Missouri tours. In fact you was our tour guide at the USS Missouri. He knew how to make the maximun use of our time and best place for lunch.
We definitely will come back and will request Ben, if he is still owrking for this company.
Excellent value. more
That was great time for my family.
And the driver(guide) was very kind.
WOrds cannot explain this activity. My wife and I took a vacation to Hawaii as our yearly get away, no special occasion. I serve...d in the military so this was a must for me to go experience. It was recommended for us to arrive early at pearl harbor. It's true that there is a massive line but I recommend that you go a little later than 6am because the line moves pretty quick. Let me explain the process because I did not see anyone mention it. The memorial opens at 7am and people enter inside the welcome center and get a card with a # on it, which puts you in a group. I estimate the group to be about 50 people. After that time, you just roam around the welcome center until your group # is called. Then you stand in line to go into a theater where you will see ACTUAL footage from the war and it's very touching and heart stopping. After that, you go outside to the water taxi (boat) which takes you out to the actual memorial. you can just feel the mood there. Some people can be disr more
The Arizona and Missouri Tour was a great exprience and we learned alot about our nations history.
This was an excellent tour and well worth the money! Our bus driver/tour guide was outstanding! Garfield was very knowledgeable ...with the sites and history of both the city tour as well as being our guide on the Uss Missouri. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hawaii. more
We truly enjoyed this tour.
Our bus driver was great and very helpful. We could not have seen all that we covered in one day on our own. The one day tour wa...s well worth the cost. more
It was a good trip, the Arizona Memorial was awe-inspiring, the USS Missouri tour informed me of things I didn't. Also since... it was the anniversary of the signing of the Peace Treaty, they were sprucing it up. A little disappointed couldn't get out in Punchbowl or downtown, but time constraints may have played a part in that.
Overall it was excellent, our tour guide was well informed and easy to understand. more
Great tour and guide
Well organized and informative, particularly the battleship Missouri
Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The Driver (from Samoa) was very knowledgeable and entertaining about the Islands and the Arizone /M...issouri. He made it well worth the time and money. more
I would recommend this trip to anyone visiting the island for the first time. As long as the pick-up bus gets started, the tour i...s a fun and enjoyable one while learning a great deal about the history of Pearl Harbor. Tour guide was excellent. more
This was a great tour. I am planning on doing it again in 2009. Our tour guide/driver, Art, was great. Great deal and very informa...tive. more
The driver was great! He shared all kinds of information with us about both the USS Arizona and the USS Missouri as well as Pearl ...Harbor. He was also able to give detailed information about each historical location we passes as well as Punchbowl Cemetary. It was a great trip worth taking!!! more
Don't miss the tour of the USS Missouri
The memorial symbolises the start of WW2 and the USS Missouri the end
A very touching and meaningful experience.
Regardless of what Island you may stay at it is very easy to Island hop.
Wonderful tour. Guide on the Missouri - "Toby" was great. He served on Mighty Mo and was very knowledgeable of every de...tail of the ship. Will do it again. more
We really enjoyed this tour!! Our guide was very knowlegable and experienced. Everyone visiting Oahu should visit the Arizona at l...east once. The Missouri was also very interesting, as was the Punchbowl. more
Wonderful tour. Very moving. Something everyone from the United States should see and respect the memory of those that died there.
A wish of a lifetime fulfilled. No disappointments here.
Very educational, to see it up close and personal makes you realize the sacrifice that was made for our freedom.
Great Tour! Our tour guide/bus driver was very informative. Was a wealth of knowledge about the memorial and the city.
Sorr...y we did not book more tours through Hawaii Activities. Would recommend them to anyone. more
Our group thoroughly enjoyed this excursion. Our tour guide/bus driver, Garfield, was amusing and extremely knowledgeable. The bus... was very comfortable.
We recommend this excursion to anyone interested in seeing the WWII sites at Pearl Harbor as well as the Punchbowl Cemetery. more
Excellent Tour. Our guide, Leo C., was very entertaining and informative.
This was a great tour.
We attended this tour with our 3 children. Our driver was Garfield and he was the most informative driver we experienced on our wh...ole trip...he gave us a running commentary on everything we were passing on our way to Pearl Harbour and he had a great sense of humour. He was so punctual with time and always ensured everyone knew what was going on all the time. I would rate this tour as the best one we went on while in Hawaii, I can't speak more highly of it. Our 9 year old left the day completely educated and informed about Pearl Habour. It was also great to go onboard the USS Missouri and see what life was like at sea and understand where the signing for the end of the war occurred. Overall we were extremely pleased with the tour. more
Our travel agent suggested this tour as a great way to see Pearl Harbor and downtown Honolulu, and she was right on the money! Our... guides were friendly and very informative sharing lots of detail, Pearl Harbor was moving and very special, and the USS Missouri was impressive. This is a great tour, though you spend a lot of time on the shuttle while going through Honolulu more

We returned from our excursion yesterday and had "Guy" as our tour guide. I must say this gentleman was polite, kind, a...nd KNOWLEDGABLE!!!!! We had a great time and was well organized. I wouldn't worry about paying for the GOLD package. You can go to the Arizona Memorial and rent the headphone set for $7.50. Lunch there is very cheap, $2.50 for soup(which was good), HotDog@$3, Nachos@$4. LOVED IT!! more
The tour was excellent! Our driver Michael was very knowledgeable and pointed out plenty of landmarks. Adequate time was allotted ...for each part of the tour. Highly recommended!! more
We had a great time touring everything involved with this trip! It was a full 8 hours and our tour guide did a fabulous job of fi...lling us in on lots of history and information about the island. REALLY ENJOYED! more
Saw everything and had a FABULOUS tour bus driver that explained everything to us as we went and we learned so much about Hawaii a...nd the entire area.... thoroughly enjoyed it! more
Wonderful experience. Disappointed that we didn't get to go on memorial due to maintenance but overall loved it. Bus driver... should get a raise. My favorite part of whole week there was listening to her talk about the culture and her family. Loved it. more
Visiting Oahu in the Hawaiian Islands some of the must see sites are Pearl Harbor, the Battleship Arizona Memorial, and The USS Mi...ssouri. The tour starts off with an informative film in the visitor center. The a boat ride to the Arizona Memorial. Its a place where history was made. The USS Missouri tour is also informative, make sure you get with one of the free guided tours of the ship. more
My husband and I would highly recommend this excursion to everyone that's considering it. We liked that once we arrived at Pe...arl Harbour, our tickets were ready and given to us. There was no waiting in lines only to tell us our tour time would be many hours later!!! (If you go on your own, your ticket may instruct you to come back 3 or more hours laters since it books up daily). Booking through this company kept from having to deal with all of that! We had enough time to tour the grounds before our show and ride to the Arizona Memorial. Then, we traveled by bus to the USS Missouri. We decided to take the guided tour and still had time to explore the extras on our own before we had to meet for the bus for our return trip. This excursion was very informative, and we would do it again! more

Our driver -Keow (certainly misspelled)--made the day. Picked up promptly from our hotel---the days schedule was laid out for us.... Pearl Harbor is a solemn and reverent place. We did the USS Missouri tour also---excellent. Keow (?) was fantastic---he was knowledgeble and funny and entertaining. He even sang some Elvis---pretty well too! Pearl Harbor is an amazing place---they do a great job . Great day--great company. more
Of everything we did seeing the Arizona & USS Missouri was our favorite. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and courteous. ...We learned so much history and was just at awe to get to see Pearl Harbor! more

This tour of the Arizona Memorial and USS Missouri at Pearl Harbor was the best.
Our driver Ed was so knowledgeable and ni...ce. The tour was awesome and very touching..
Every American should come and visit the memorial when in Honolulu. more

I was surprised how accessible the tour was! I've never seen a motor coach with a wheelchair lift before. Our guide, Mike, wa...s top notch! One important suggestion: call well in advance to schedule wheelchair transportation. I actually had to change our tour date, but it worked out perfectly. I also recommend the longer tour. We were only able to get through about 1/3 of the audio tour, which I also highly recommend. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end! more
Tour Guide Cody did a fantastic job in all aspects from his professional driving to his knowledge
of the history of the com...plete Tour. Very enjoyable. more
This tour made us reflect on the significance of this sacred memorial for all
armed forces and what they do to keep us safe.... We could reflect on the fact that people forget themselves and do whatever it takes in a time of need and unite toward a common goal. This site is not just about the US but about all nations of the world coming together to strive for peace. more

The tour was very enjoyable and the guide was fantastic. We learned a lot more about the events and places than we imagined.
The tour can't be called fun, but i can say "don't miss it". It's very informative, quite solemn (the Ar...izona portion) and something i think every visitor should take in. It was well organized, good timing, and did everything we hoped it would. more
After all, this tour is primarily based around a trip to a cemetary. There really isn't that much to see of the Arizona itsel...f, just some shadows underwater really. As I mentioned though, this is a little different to your average tourism spot, no "ooooh's and ahhhh's for the spectacular at the Arizona Monument.
The battleship Missouri is quite impressive though, the tour around the boat itself is quite interesting and is very much worth a look.
The city and punchbowl tour really isn't much at all. You basically drive in and out through the city, that's the tour pretty much. The Punchbowl Cemetary is a three minute detour and probably really isn't woth the bother for what you see there. more
Our guide was coughing into the mike as he talked and we thought if he was sick, he should have stayed home. He could have at leas...t removed the mike when he was coughing.
The tour itself was wonderful! more
We only had one day on Oahu. We were interested in an overview of Pearl Harbor and Oahu. This tour more than fulfilled this obje...ctive. Our tour guide was very experienced, enthusiastic, clever, and he treated us like valued customers. more
Very informative and sobering experience.
First time to Hawaii, this definitely was a must see. Our tour guide was very informative, he himself served in the military. He k...ept us on schedule, we had no long lines to stand in to receive our tickets, our guide received the tickets directly from the booth for our entire group, allowing us to enter promptly. The tour of Pearl Harbor was a very solemn reminder of the cost that has been paid to sustain our nation's freedom. Enjoyed the tour of the USS Missouri, the ship is massive, tour guide did a wonderful job pointing out the facts and point of interests on the ship. The tour of the Pucnchbowl & downtown was just as good. Our guide again shared alot of interesting facts & info. Well worth the time. more

Everyone would be well served to visit this beautiful memorial and remember why we enjoy so many freedoms. We will recount the co...st of liberty and be more grateful. The Mighty Mo was awe inspiring and strengthened my pride in America! No trip to Hawaii would be complete without a visit to these sacred memorials. more
Our tour guide Ed was amazing. Very informative and knowledgeable about Honolulu is general, not just Pearl Harbor. Even his jokes... were funny. I would do this tour again.. more
Tour operator was of a high standard and very professional. The various areas of the Pearl Harbour area were well organised. Especi...ally the USS Missouri tour and artifacts. The Pearl Harbour audio self tour was well organised too, however insufficient time was allowed to seriously view all stations of the tour. The Arizona Memorial pre film of the events was very real and looked at from all sides. The actual memorial was moving and somber. again a little more time would have been benifical. The tour concluded with a drive through the Punchbowl Cemetry. The only disappointing part of the day was the poor and very limited options for food and drinks. As the tour was a full day it would have been more enjoyable if a larger range of foodstuff was available. Finally the tour could have been more enjoyable with an extra hour at the Pearl Harbour and Aviation Muesum. Well done to our tour operators driver. A memorable day. more

I am sure I have done this, but will do it again"our visit to Pearl Harbor, was thought provoking, informative, sad, education...al and enlightening. The story of Pearl Harbor is a tragic era in our modern history. As an Australian, I empathise with the Americans for the way their service people and civilians were attacked, violated and killed at that time in history. The war in the Pacific involved a list of countries. My place of work, is named after a Hospital Ship "Centaur "..this boat belonged to the Australian fleet. It was bombed off the coast of Queensland, north of Brisbane.....it had the flag stipulating its identity as a Hospital Ship, but was still attacked by a Japanese submarine. Many innocent people lost their lives on that day also, same as in Pearl Harbor. Our freer was sensational, his knowledge and wit were unbelievable.. more
We loved our tour but found we required more time before our scheduled entry into the theater. the tour was great and our driver ...was great also.....We think a bit more explanation should be made about the rules regarding bag storage and pick up procedures... we needed more time at Pearl Harbor and less time on the bus.. we did not require a city tour. We need more time in the exhibit areas.
Great day. Whilst informative the tour guide did not stop talking for the whole time the bus was moving... He needs to review what... he is passing on to the people. more
while I enjoyed the trip, we were unable to go out to the memorial by boat because of the wind. That was the main reason for the ...tour, so I feel that my once in a lifetime vacation was incomplete.
Be warned that the Military can shut down the shuttles as they see fit. more
No time to enjoy or view activities. We felt very rushed. "Gold Package" got us a deli sandwich, which we had to leave... the tour for, adding to the time rush. I had taken this tour with a different company several years ago, and had a totally different experience (for the better). Bus drive thru town was pleasant and informative. Driver was knowledgeable.
A couple of more hours could have made all the difference... more
