Just getting back from Hawaii and had to rate this tour to help all of you out there, like myself, who maybe confused on which tou...r to take when u r in Hawaii. I definitely would recommend you this one with my experience with Larry as our tour guide. He was very informative as well as funny to keep the fun alive atmosphere (especially in the early morning). It included a great city tour visiting the famous palace too and then a chance to visit Pearl Harbor and The Arizona Memorial. The tour was not too long either so it’s perfect for us since we have two middle school aged kids and can plan to do something else later in the day. Unfortunately we did not get to step onto the Arizona Memorial itself due to a crack being repaired currently but it ensured a time slot for us to visit the site after watching a 20 min video clip on the event. Overall, excellent experience and great tour! Thanks Larry! more

The bus motor coach narrator was excellent. Humerous all the way. Will book again with my family! Very educative and informative e...xperience! more

We enjoyed the event. Our driver Patrick was very pleasant and knowledgeable. For the price you can’t go wrong! I would recommend ...for those that want to experience Pearl Harbor and Honolulu in an efficient yet enjoyable way. more

I looked at several sites trying to decide which tour to use for our Pear Harbor Tour and chose using Hawaiian Activities because ...they provided the best description of the tour companies. It was easy to book on-line and when I called to ask what time the bus would pick us up at the hotel, the customer service agent immediately called the company to find out. That to me is service so I booked with them. Booking before you arrive on the island makes life so much easier because everywhere you look, there are tours being promoted and it can be confusing. The company I chose did a marvelous job. Our coach was clean and air conditioned and the driver/tour guide was marvelous. He told us so much about the history of Hawaii that his narration brought so much more value to the tour. The same applied to the tour guide we had for the USS Missouri. He brought the signing of the armistice with General McArthur, the Allies and the Japanese to life in ways no history book can. I will def more

The tour and the tour bus were excellent. We got tickets to the Arizona shuttle/tour as advertised and the driver was fun and inf...ormative. Worth the price for the "front of the line" tickets at the Arizona. Family of 6 really enjoyed the experience and it was the right duration for the youngest (5). The instructions for pickup at 635am were vague enough to cause a little confusion for us because the hotel where we were picked up is closed and under renovation. And the point of contact number on the voucher was not answered at that time of the morning to make sure we were at the correct location. A little "personal attention to detail" giving more information would have gone a long way to make the pickup less stressful. This is our only complaint... minor. more

The tour to Pearl Harbour and the US Arizona was very interesting and educational. We are not Americans and were impressed at the... objectivity apparent in the various museums and displays. The Arizona Memorial is moving, all the more so as it is still leaking oil and we are forced to remember that it is something real, not a recreation or imagined scene. Our guide, Frank, was personable and full of stories and information. He was fun! more

Everyone should experience this tour sometime during their life. The memorial is a tragic, yet holy and beautiful tribute to our ...fallen military who died so suddenly on Dec. 7, 1941. The tour operator was very informative and treated everyone like family. The downtown tour was full of history and tidbits shared by our driver, "Cousin Jerry", a full blooded older Hawaiian gentleman. more

This may not be the best for younger kids but if they have any interest in the worlds history then this will be perfect. The memor...ial is breathtaking and a real tear jerker. I would recommend anyone visiting Oahu must see it. We had a mix up on the pickup location so we got on the bus about 30 minutes late but still made the memorial with plenty of time before our showing of the movie. The place is great and the stories behind it our sobering. The Mighty Mo is great for the whole family. Lots of cool things to touch and see. The tour continues with the downtown trip and punch bowl drive through. Both were well timed and needed after the long day of walking. more

We took the Pearl Harbor tour with the Missouri. Sandy was our tour guide and she was fantastic! Very nice, fun and entertaining,... plus knowledgeable. The bus was really big and comfortable (not like most of the yucky shuttles) and Sandy drove around Waikiki effortlessly. Amazing! The Arizona Memorial is a must-see, although it is not exciting so kids are easily bored. On the other hand, the tour of the Missouri is great for all ages. We did the audio tour with the iTouch device, and my 13-year-old thought it was like an adventure to find the next location. We were able to explore and listen at our convenience. The Punchbowl was closed for Memorial Day, but Sandy took us to Pal"i lookout, which was a beautiful sight and the drive up was very informational too. Overall, a terrific tour that we are so glad we did and the price was VERY affordable. Many of the tours I saw were way over-priced, as I cannot see what they could offer over the tour we took. We were much more

The tour was what you'd expect about the Pearl Harbor experience. Our driver was exceptional! He was really friendly, helpful..., and went beyond our expectations. At one point as I was talking to my wife on the cell phone (in Fl), I gave him the phone and he talked to her. When the Punchbowl visit was closed for some reason, he took us to another location to enjoy. He offered to drop us off at the swap meet and come back for us at a later time, which wasn't even a part of our tour. Our hotel wasn't a designated drop-off point but he took us there and dropped us off there anyway. I'd definitely book with this company again! more

Waited 40+ years to go, way too long, something that every American should see. But needed more time, than 1 day. If opportunity c...ame, would go back and spend more time. more

Our family really enjoyed the tour of Pearl Harbor and the Battleship Missouri. It was very informative and easy for our kids to ...follow along. Our tour guide, Frank, was the best! Very personable and helpful with any questions. more

Very moving experience, made all the more meaningful by an excellent tour - on time and very insightful.

I had an amazing day at Pearl Harbor. I didn´t go to the USS memorial because I don´t like boats. But instead I went on the USS Bo...wfin a fantastic experience. The USS Missouri battleship was awesome ! And it is so big, you need to set good time for this activiti so you can enjoy everything. And take the guided tours, they are really great. Also a big hand for the busdriver that day, Cathrine. She was great, smiling, happy, talked with everybody and maked all of us smiling. I was the only one who did the big tour in Pearl Harbor that day. On the way back she drove through Punchbowl and China town, really sweet and an exstra service for me. Fantastic day. more

I'm from NZ and am intending on bringing some 11-12yr olds back next year. I found it very moving and am sure everyone who a...ttends will also be the same. I hope that when I do bring my students back that they will also appreciate and understand the impact it has had on everyone involved. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. more

Our first and most memorable experience with this company was being picked up by Coach Driver Jerry. This guy is a credit to the and to Hawaii. He supplied a huge amount of information about the islands, the history and Pearl Harbour. He was extremely helpful to everyone on the coach and gave sensible advice to all the 'out of towners' The experience of visiting the Missouri and the Arizona memorial was a humbling and memorable experience for our family. more

The Royal Start tour to Pearl Harbor was more than I had hoped for. "Cousin Jerry" was an amazing guide and made us fee...l like ohana (family). The comfort of the tour bus was very very nice. The visit to the Arizona was everything I expected and was a very emotional time for me, being a Navy veteran. We really felt like we got our money worth and definitely recommend the Royal Star tours. more

There were so many Pearl Harbor tours to choose from, I thought my head was going to explode just trying to decide. In the end, I ...was glad we chose this one. We had a lot of time on our own to explore Pearl Harbor and there were optional audio tours available for an additional fee, but we didn't do that. There was so much to take in and see as it was! more

Rebecca Fletcher

The service was great! They accommodated our changes efficiently and we were able to work around our schedule. Our guide Theus was... amazing and we shared quite a few laughs and good info during the entire tour. Highly recommend!! We had a great time! more

Highly recommend this tour...hotel pick-up, comfortable narrated bus ride through Honolulu, no waiting in line for tickets! Very e...njoyable and interesting tour. Back to hotel by 2 pm to enjoy the afternoon on the beach. Well worth spending the $ !!!! more

A must do! Great tour! Driver was super knowledgable!

This event was amazing!!! There is so much history behind it, that I left hungry to come back for more information!! It's a m...ust see for everyone!!! It's an unforgettable experience!! Get to experience the deck in battleship Missouri. The tourist guide where very helpful. I'm happy that I booked all my activities with Veltra Hawaii activities, they send me reminders and I got curtesy calls 1 day prior to my events. Thanks again for all your great work!! more

Wonderful wonderful wonderful!!!!!, loved our guide/driver

I had read other reviews of this tour that mentioned not having enough time for everything, so when we booked the tour, I mentione...d that seeing the Missouri was our top priority. Sure enough, when we arrived at the memorial, our guide (Steve) handed us tickets to the Missouri with the right guidance so we could see it first, and still have time for the Arizona. Steve was great, gave the whole group detailed coaching and an insider's perspective, and kept us all on track. Terrific use of a day of our vacation! more

Sara J.

Great time - only drawback was it starts so early in the morning - hard everyone - not just the kids. But it was an amazing day!

The museums and displays at Pearl Harbor were way more than we expected. My teens aren't always enthusiastic about history bu...t they were very engaged with these activities and when we went out to the Arizona Memorial, it was clear they understood the import of this place in American history. Very moving. The Missouri was well worth the time and investment. more

My 2nd time to Pearl Harbor. 1st time touring Bowfin!

We chose the trip with the tour because we had nothing else scheduled for the day, and I'm glad we did! After visiting the me...morial, we were able to go aboard the USS Missouri and spent a good amount of time there. Afterwards, our super nice guide took us around town showing us all of the main attractions and was able to answer all of our questions! We were picked up and dropped off at the hotel which made this really convenient. I would recommend this to everyone! We were back by early afternoon so still had plenty of time left to do our own thing for the rest of the day. Great experience! more

We had such a great time! Our tour guide was so personable and made the most of our trip. The tour of Downtown Honolulu is a must ...if you have the time! more

It was such a beautiful and memorable tour! I highly recommend you take this tour! They will make sure you have tickets for that d...ay.... If you go on your own, you are not guaranteed tickets for the day. I recommend you take this tour... The tour around downtown was also so informative. The bus driver was very knowledgeable and funny! more

Driver polite, punctual. Memorial moving experience. Unfortunate stops are no longer allowed at Punchbowl Cemetery.

Driver Marlon, was most welcoming & told a lot of interesting information about Pearl Harbour & Honolulu in particular. He... drove in a safe & professional manner. I am a Community Bus Driver in Sydney (Seniors). more

Nice service. Bus was so comfortable. Recommended!

The tour began with a punctual pick-up at the pre-specified location. Our driver, Marlon, was very professional, friendly and very... knowledgeable! Upon our arrival at the Pearl Harbor, he gave us detailed instructions about the timeline of our visit. He advised on how we could make best use of our time there with visiting the different sites. All went very smoothly! more

The tour exceeded my expectations. Would recommend to anyone. The driver was very helpful and arrived on time.

You can't stay in Honolulu without seeing this magnificent tribute to the fallen military men and women of WWII. After a short film that told of December 7, 1941, we were then shuttled by boat to the Arizona. The sunken battleship still has oil that is leaking out of the tanks of the ship which you can actually smell. After this part of the tour, we went by bus to the USS Missouri where the treaty was signed with Japan. This was also very moving. As we headed back to Waikiki, we went by the Punchbowl Cemetery, China Town and got to see the State Building where the statue of King Kamehameha stands in front. This is the first thing that you see in the Hawaii 5 0 show when it starts. This is a great tour, and has all the must sees! more

If you go on this tour, ask for bus 738. Patrick was our driver and guide and he was awesome. He was very knowledgable and showe...d us a lot of interesting things and explained to us what we were being shown. When it came time for the tour Patrick had a handle on the process and made sure we knew what was expected during the actual memorial tour. Great job Royal Star! more

The whole experience was great. Nice bus. Good guide. The actual park was very patriotic and humbling. Informative. Well done. Ou...r kids enjoyed it. more

The tour was amazing! Learned a lot of amazing facts from WW2. Also, the bus driver "Marvin" was amazing! Very happy cus...tomer. more

well organised helpful and informative driver an excursion that should not be missed suitable for all ages

Our tour of the Arizona and other memorials was totally worth the tour. Larry our driver was very informative, thorough and went ...out of his way to make his guests comfortable. We enjoyed learning about the memorials and surrounding areas. Had we driven ourselves, we would not have known many important aspects of the Island. Highly recommend the tour especially if it's the first time on the Island which it was our first. Kudos to Larry!! more

Susie Pena

Driver was fantastic. Got us in early which worked out as the tours were shut due to wind after ours. Had a lot to show us around as well. more

The children really enjoyed the tour and history of pearl Barbour and missouri

This was the best way to see Pearl Harbor! Our Driver, Larry, was wonderful... Funny, very knowledgeable, and helpful. I recomme...nd that you purchase the Battleship Missouri ticket with your tour, it was excellent. more

Mark from New York

The Pearl Harbor tour was one of the best tours we did during our vacation in Oahu. Our driver Larry was very informative during t...he tour. We got a little taste of the history of Oahu. Larry made our tour very interesting and entertaining. He gave us lots of stories bout the history of Hawaii that previous to taking the tour we were not aware of. The city of Honolulu had numerous historical places to visit. Once we arrived to Pearl Harbor, we were very excited. Larry spoke about the historical importance Pearl Harbor had in American history. The movie that was played before the boat ride to the memorial was very well made. It was very interesting and educational. The fact that it had actual video footage from the attack of Pearl Harbor made it very real and emotional. Furthermore, the tour to the SS Arizona memorial was amazing. It's definitely something I would recommend to anyone visiting Oahu. Being on the memorial and seeing the names of all the people who lost their lives on the SS Arizona was very moving. The tour is very well organized that it's interesting for the whole family. more

Larry, our motor coach driver went the extra mile for us. Very informative, funny and pleasant; but somber/respectful when appropr...iate. It does not matter if you are a history buff or not-- a very moving experience to see where our WW2 began and where it ended. The Punch Bowel National Memorial brings it all home and makes you proud to be an American in the resting place of those who made the ultimate sacrifice. more

Everything about the tour was great, especially the driver Larry. Enjoyed the bus ride as much as pearl harbor.

Jim Kirton

Our Pearl Harbor Deluxe Motorcoach shuttle tour was one of our favourite experiences on our hawaii holiday. We were welcomed by a... friendly and humerous tour guide who made our tour fun and very informative. We started our information session on the Arizona memorial which included a screening of a video clip looking back into the era of the invasion of the japanese into pearl harbor and the demolage that was to take place. We learnt that on that fatal day the Japanese bombed that no one at pearl harbour that day were aware of the Japanese planes nearing and were not prepared for the carnage that was to follow. We then took the ferry over to the Arizona memorial where we got to look upon the sunken Arizona battleship and pay respect to all those who deceased on that ship. We then caught the ferry back and then took a bus over to the U.S.S Missouri ship where a tour guide explained the importance of the ships past etc. where the japanese signed the treaty with the u.s. to end the war and its use in three wars. We were then able to explore the ship by ourselves and see where the soldiers once bunked, ate, and took to everyday duties on the ship. We then bought a few items from the gift shop and met our motorcoach tour guide back at the coach to continue on to see the sights of Punch Bowl cemetary and Honolulu. Our tour guide continued to show us important sights and buildings around honolulu. We got to see the beauty of the honolulu landscape which include tropical and international plant life and amazing architecture. We were then taken back to our hotel where we were dropped right outside and thanked our amazing tour guide for a great day had. more

We had a great time, a truly awesome experience! The tour itself is a truly educationaland an emotional place, and the memorial is... just absolutely beautiful. It had always been a goal to be able to make it to the Pearl Harbor Memorial, and I was finally able to make it thanks to this tour! We had a splendid tour guide, which made things even better. Patrick, our tour guide was great, informative, and friendly! I will definitely be doing this trip again up my return to Honolulu, Hawaii with my family, and hopefully we have Patrick or another great tour guide like him. I enjoyed all of the lovely sites to see. It was a gorgeous tour, I definitely recommend this trip to all my family and friends, actually in general I recommend this tour to any and everyone. :) more

My grandchildren did enjoy the tour very much. A lot of wonderful history that they really enjoyed

My girlfriend Constance and I were highly recommended to do this tour prior to our trip to Hawaii and we were not disappointed. tour will now be top of our list of recommendations to other friends and family as it is as breathtaking and exhilarating as expected. The sights seen on this tour is truly unbelievable and needs to be seen to be believed. As a couple, we were slightly hesitant as we are more the adventurous type, however this tour still gave us a great look into history of the island which was some amazing stuff. It was very informative and interesting and really gave us Australians a little glimpse of what the U.S had endured back in the day. If and when my girlfriend and I return to Hawaii (I'm sure we will soon) we will most likely do this tour again, as the views and sights cannot be compared to anything else. We are so glad we went ahead with this booking and tour because the tour guide and transportation to and from were great also to make for a perfect day. more

Visiting Pearl Harbor was the main reason we went to Oahu and we were so happy we booked this tour. Our driver Larry was extremel...y personable and knowledgeable and made the experience very worthwhile! more

I could not decide what was the best way to get to Pearl Harbour. The trolley seemed inconvenient and hiring a taxi was too expens...ive. Then I saw this tour on hawaii and realized this was my best option. Not only was the bus very comfortable, our motorcoach operator Marlon was very smooth in executing the whole tour, and his follow up on Pearl Harbor was superb. What was also great is the efficiently planned out schedule of this tour. You have to wake up a little early, but you come back to the Wakiki area by 12 in the afternoon, which still gives you all of the afternoon and night to do something else. Pearl Harbor is just one of those places in Hawaii that some people go visit and some don't because of the location, but I thought it was one of the best experiences during my trip, and I think this convenient tour helped me make it so! more

Great tour...friendly staff, well organized, and good overview of city!

Pearl Harbor is truly amazing. we must admit as Aussies, my family knew only the basics about the bombing of Pearl Harbor, After o...ur day at Pearl Harbor we learnt and appreciated so much more. Our tour from the moment of pick up to return was exceptional. Larry our coach driver was a wonderful guide. He was very informative on our tour of the city. Our adult & teenage kids were very impressed to see the High School that Bruno Mars went to. The drive through the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific was both moving and respectful. Driving past Hawaii State Capitol and understanding the architecture as well as Iolani Palace and Kawaiaha'o Church and stopping at the Supreme Court were a highlight. Upon arrival at Pearl Harbor, Larry explained everything clearly and we completely understood all requirements. Visiting the Arizona Memorial was a truly moving experience, both an honour and privilege. Upon return, we headed to the bus to take us to Ford Island to step aboard the Mighty Mo (Missouri). Exploring the USS Missouri was great. While there were free guided tours available, we chose to explore on our own and had so much fun, while still learning all about this amazing vessel. To stand at the very location where the Instrument of Surrender to end World War II took place was remarkable and a moment to reflect. We didn't get to see all of Pearl Harbor, but what we did see was amazing and we will be back on the Full Tour to see the rest and pay our respects again. more

We were in Hawaii for the first time celebrating our 30th anniversary and stayed for 7 nights in Waikikki. We booked this tour in ...advanced, paid total US$75 each, total $150.00 which included the admission and tour to USS Battleship Missouri via this site. So glad we booked this tour which we did on our 3rd day. We were picked up 5 minutes earlier, and the tour guide Marlon was most helpful and courteous. We got to stop and visit the Palace in Honolulu since we were early. The motor coach was very comfortable. A group with young children was late coming back, but the bus operator waited patiently for them. Marlon gave us very good instructions, for all the different visit sites at Pearl Harbour, and got us all our admission tickets very quickly and smoothly. This tour is well worth it as we got so many information which you would not have known had you just gone on your own. We did rent a car for 3 days, but we definitely made a right decision to purchase this tour and not drive there ourselves, just for the extra tour guide information is well worth it. Instead, we rented the car for our last 3 days in Waikikki and drove along North Shore, South Shore and West shore over 3 days. The Pearl Harbour, including Mighty Mo tour is a must do - we even got to take a picture with Mr. Hyland, a 98 year old survivor from Pearl Harbour. 5 stars for this tour ! more

It was pouring rain when Patrick picked us up at the hotel. he was able to shuffle some of the tour around and quite literally wor...ked magic so that when we got to the Arizona the sun came out. He was very knowledgeable and his humor made a very somber trip fun and interesting. Would definitely take another tour with him. the bus was Royal Star if that helps others. more

There was so much to see with a tour of the Arizona memorial, the museum and then mighty mo. The tour company was amazing with tra...nsportation and organization. I would book it again! more

Found the trip on the internet, called the office and booked the 5 hour morning trip over the phone. Recieved a conformation numbe...r over the phone and an email with all of the details. A few days before my trip recieved a reminder email and a link to print out my voucher. The day of the trip, Mett the bus a the pick time and point. The bus was a luxurious tour bus with a restroom. The driver Patrick was very professional and very pleasent. As we start traveling through the city Patrick pointed out several different thing. He was very knowledgeable about the city of Honolulu. When we arrived at Pearl Harbor he lead us up to the gate and explained how the tour was to be conducted. He handed are tickets showed everybody where to meet and at what time. After the movie and boat ride to the Arizona we had an extra 1 1/2 hours to see the rest of the site. The tour was definitely worth the money, there was no standing in line to get tickets or having to find transportation to Pearl Harbor and back. Would recommend it to everyone. more

What a nice tour! We took the Royal Star Hawaii Deluxe Pearl Harbor/Arizona Memorial and Historical City Tour. This a great tour because, regardless of what you read anywhere else, there is an advantage to getting a tour operator to take you. I was curious about how easy it would be to get tickets on your own, so I went over to the ticket counter and asked what the next available time would be (already having the ticket that our guide, Larry, gave us). It was 3 hours later than the ticket Larry got us! We saved 3 hours, allowing us the 2nd half of the day to go do other things! Our tour guide, Larry, who is very knowledgeable, shared many interesting facts and insights about the area. As for the Pearl Harbor portion of the trip, he gave us helpful instructions in advance, walked us in as a group, went to get our tickets for us, and then gave us instructions on what to see and do. He was even available for us while we toured the visitors center and museum. When we came back to the bus, he even had a mint and handy wipe for each of us to freshen up! We also went to National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific and to Downtown Honolulu to see the famous statue of King Kamehameha, again many interesting facts delivered by Larry. Conclusion: quality tour, saved 3+ hours of our day. Easy pickup and drop off near major Hotels. more

The tour was great and very informative. Our guide Larry gave us tips on how to be most productive in our Pearl Harbor tour so we ...won't waste time and also so that we can get the most out of our pictures. more

Royal Star motorcoach provided top notch transportation and Patrick, our driver and guide, provided superior service. The was impeccably clean and modern and Patrick was friendly, funny, and completely knowledgeable about everything Hawaiian that all of us asked him. I particularly liked that Patrick kept track of us at all times and was at all rendezvous sites at Pearl Harbor on time. It was great to know that he was looking out for us and took a personal interest in all of us. Patrick is a wonderful ambassador of your company and of your motorcoach and guide services. By the way, I'm not related to Patrick, but I am a former motorcoach bus captain myself for several years in Virginia. Patrick is a man worth keeping happy; you do not want to lose this gem to a competitor! We were very glad we found VELTRA online for our Pearl Harbor and Honolulu transportation and tour on 11/27/2015. more

We were picked up less than a block away from our Waikiki Hotel for an early morning 6:30am tour with a guarantee to return us bac...k to the hotel no later than 2:00 pm. As we had a scheduled 3:00pm pick-up for transportation to the cruise ship pier from our Hotel, the time schedule was critical. The drive showed up right on time in a luxury Tour Bus. We completed the Pearl harbor tour which included the USS Missouri, the USS Arizona, and the city tour and got us back to our hotel with time to spare. Great Service. Would highly recommend. more

Tony our bus driver was exceptional. He was informative of the Island. We were picked up at the Hiton Hawaiian and proceeded to Pu...nch Bowl Cemetery. That was a beautiful resting place for the fallen. We then drove to Pearl Harbor and Tony walked in the Park with us, gave us are tickets and pointed out where we were to go and what time. Tony was very hands on with our group and very caring of our journey into Pearl Harbor. After our visit to the Memorial of which I cried, actually it was very overwhelming to be there and fully felt a piece of history unfolding. Quite an experience, a must see if you go to Honolulu. We then had time to explore the gift shops and proceeded back to the bus, which Tony was waiting on us with mints and a hand towel to wash our hands. Tony is something else. We then started to our way back to the hotel drop off location. Please don't use anyone but this group, the whole experience was OUTSTANDING. Maholo, Julie & Scott Brady from NC more

This is our 4th time to visit Hawaii and we always start by spending several days in Oahu before moving on to another island. The... Veltra Deluxe Arizona Memorial Tour and Historical City Tour is a must no matter how many times you visit because we always need to remember the extreme sacrifices made for us by our brave men and women of the military. We've been all over the world and Paradise Cruise is one of the very best tour companies ever! HIGHLY recommend this tour. Our guide was Marlon and he was super! more

It was a fantastic tour! Our guide/bus driver Larry was a wealth of knowledge on everything from Hawaiian history to all the build...ings in the area and I learnt so much that I would have never known without him. He also told us plenty about Pearl Harbour too and made sure we knew what we were doing. He was very funny too and you could tell he was very experienced and qualified for his job, it was a fantastic experience and definitely worth my money. more

Toa was very knowledgeable about the history of the memorial and also very entertaining

The main benefit in this tour was to have someone else stand in line and get the tickets and drive around. The Arizona memorial an...d Missouri tours are handled basically self tours. My favorite portion was the oral history as told by our guide, Cousin Jerry. This was too short. I wish I had heard more from him. more

Had a great time!!

Cousin Jerry was the best! So knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great chat about all things Hawaii! We were lucky we were the o...nly ones seeing Mighty Mo and the city tour in our group so it. The bus to Might Mo was operated by Roberts, they were great too. We will be back!!! more

Initially, we were told that we were unable to tour the Arizona until 30 minutes before we needed to check out of our hotel. Our ...driver, Cousin Jerry, saved the day. He walked up to the ticket booth and obtained tickets for my entire family for a tour three hours earlier. This gave us plenty of time to tour the Arizona and Honolulu and have lunch. He really went the extra mile for us! more

Honolulu is hectic enough without worrying how to get places with traffic. The tour is great. The driver knew the ins and outs of ...the places we went and made our experience worthwhile. I'm glad we could keep our bags on the bus in between places, especially our packed lunch! more

Good tour for the price. Worth having someone pick you up and do the driving. We wish we had more time on the Missouri and to se...e the museums back on Ford Island. We drove from Honolulu, to Pearl Harbor to get tickets, back to Honolulu for the tour, then to Pearl Harbor, and then back to Honolulu. I would have preferred that we were picked up a bit later and have the tickets all ready for us. We barely had any breakfast and because there isn't much time, we didn't eat from 6:30 am to almost 4 pm. Our tour guide was very courteous and informative (Marlan). more

I thought I paid for the battleship Missouri tour but was never taken. Arizona memorial was just as I remember it.

Tour was great and the tour guide did a great job. However, the pick up point was a closed hotel and not well marked. Took a whi...le to find the pick up point, which was only a block away from the hotel where we were staying. Do not understand this as other buses from the same company were picking up at out hotel. We spend a few hours trying to find the pick up point and the operator that was called was not helpful. Overall it was a very nice day but it didn't start out the way that was expected. You need to set the pick up point at the hotel staying. Do not understand why he had to find a closed hotel! more

The Bus Driver was excellent; very knowledgeable and gave us a great visit with great information on the history. Unfortunately i...t was a morning tour - but we had tickets for 2 PM? Having paid so far in advance it was a little annoying to have to wait for an hour on the stand by line. We never saw the Missouri - just the Punchbowl cemetary - so I think we should get a partial refund on this one as well. Kenneth Ferguson more

Very interesting, loved both the memorial and the Missouri, think it could have been done in less time though

On time pick up and drop off, great friendly driver(Patrick) well done, very organised trip great value. Recommended.

Enjoyed experience, but don't leave anything on the bus. Our driver Patrick said it would be OK to leave items on bus during... tour, because he would lock up the bus, but failed to tell us that he would go back to the city to return other guests on the shorter tour and return for us later, hence my wife's pink shawl went missing Not happy wife Mervyn Dale, Windsor Canada more

The last time I came to Hawaii, I didn't have time to come to Pearl Harbor. Missing it had been one of my biggest regrets of... that trip, so when I came back again it was pretty much the only thing on my "must do" list. I normally buy my excursions as a last minute thing so that I can be free to decide last minute what I want to do with my precious vacation days, but not wanting to risk missing Pearl Harbor again, I booked this excursion about a week before I arrived on the islands. I did a bit of research on different tours and options and decided that the USS Arizona memorial was what I was most interested in, and (due to a rebate offered for writing a review), veltra ended up being the best deal I could find. The trip itself was pretty basic... A bus tour of several areas of town including the old palace and the military gravesite near then punch bowl, but the driver was friendly and informative and the bus was comfortable. Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona memorial were great to see. It was a very moving experience and I highly recommend it to anyone who has the time. more

It was a fabulous your. Larry was very informational and funny. He was very prompt and you can tell he loves his job.

We took the Pearl Harbour tour yesterday and pick up was on time from a point close by to our hotel. The coach was clean and comfo...rtable and our driver Larry was nice providing us with information about hawaii culture and history. The stop at Pearl Harbor was for a suffiecient amount of time and our entrance tickets and boat shuttle to the USS Memorial was included in the package. I wish we had covered more of the old town tour (part of the package)as we just drove past Hawaii state Capitol, china town, punchbowl cemetery and only stopped at the lolani palace and king's statute for pics. Our pick up was at 6:35am and we reached the Pearl Harbor at 8:40am (we did the city tour earlier as we had time in hand) and we were dropped back to hotel at around 12:30pm (the drop off would be later had we done the battleship tour at Pearl Harbor). I would recommend this tour to travelers. more

Overall tour was great. Early pickup was good because the city tour was comfortable with a couple picture stops. We arrived at me...morial early enough to walk around a bit before the Arizona tour. Arizona was already sold out at 9:00, so glad we got tickets online in advance. Ferry runs every 15 minutes, so it's a quick walk through, but we missed the first ferry back, and caught the next. Had more time to tour the Missouri, and was able to walk throughout after the very informative guided portion. There are places here to grab a burger or hot dog if you like, and a snack store back at the Pearl Harbor memorial. After the Missouri, we had more time to tour the memorial before our pickup time. I would definitely recommend this tour. more

The tour itself was great. Seeing the Arizona, punch bowl cemetery and downtown Honolulu was enjoyable. Tour guide was knowledgabl...e and fun, bus was clean. Don't be afraid to bring a backpack with snacks on the bus, our driver locked it up while off the bus. We used Hawaii activities tour group. We were supposed to also see uss Missouri but had to change during tour because of time constraints. So that was disappointing. On website it lists getting back to hotel by 1:30 at latest but once we got to Pearl Harbor tour driver informed us that people seeing Missouri wouldn't leave until 1:45, we had to check out of hotel by 1:30. It took several angry calls to get veltra to reimburse our difference in cost. Had I known the times were different I would have not booked the longer tour or made different arraignments with hotel. Kids were 11& 7 and both enjoyed it, 7 year old even cried during the movie. more

Generally the tour is good, however, the tour guide didn't introduce other activities available at Pearl Harbor, such as Batt...leship Missouri Tour. We could organise the tours better if he told us how much time other tours take. The Battleship tour definitely worth it, we stayed behind for it. more

First time booking a tour when visiting Oahu and was pleased with this company. Price was very reasonable especially because it in...cludes transportation and advance tickets to USS Arizona. Bus was very spacious & clean & comfortable & on time! Our driver, John, was very pleasant & professional. Knocked off 1 star because I wish there was more time spent touring downtown. I thought this tour included Chinatown but we didn't even get close nor was it even mentioned. Honestly, Honolulu is not so big that more time can't be spent exploring. Overall, a very nice experience, mahalo! more

Aloha luv

The tour was really interesting and opened up my eyes about what happened at Pearl Harbour however the Arizona Memorial happened t...o be closed. One great thing about the tour was hat everyone was really on time so we were able to stop at the palace for 20 mins and walk around and take pictures. The driver was amazing with giving information and thinking on his feet giving us more time at places, very smart and great speaker, and also dropped people off at Waikiki destinations rather than hotels if they desired. more

It was raining dogs and cats, so the Pearl Harbor tour was shut down on that day...We only saw a video of Pearl Harbor...luckly we... still have USS tour, we had wonderful time in the battleship! more

I'm not sure what was "deluxe" about this tour. We were picked up and taken on a "tour" of Honolulu firs...t. This amounted to circling a couple of blocks where the King's palace and statue are. Then we went on to Pearl Harbor where we were informed that we would be switching to a different bus for our return to our resort! The 1st driver was difficult to understand when he was telling us what we were seeing. The 2nd driver was much better, although he seemed to talk about things as he saw them and would move onto something else before the rest of the bus caught up to what he had been talking about! I think there are cheaper options for a tour like this which accomplish the exact same thing! more
