Bike down the scenic Tantalus drive and then choose how to continue your adventure: a waterfall hike in Manoa, a catamaran sail & snorkel in Waikiki, or both!
With a wide variety of combinations to choose from, there's an adventure for everyone! You can embark on a fascinating 2-mile round trip guided hike to a 150-foot cascading waterfall and also head up to the looming top of Pu'u 'Ohia and cool off with a relaxing 5-mile downhill bike ride on a paved jungle road. After the bike ride, hop on board a catamaran and embark on a sailing and snorkeling excursion off of picturesque Waikiki Beach. Swim among schools of tropical fish, green sea turtles and occasional spinner dolphins during this all-day adventure!

If you are the outdoorsy type or just want to see and experience nature while you are in Hawaii, then I TOTALLY recommend doing this tour. You get do see so much of the beauty of the island in just one day. The hike is perfect; it is not too strenuous, the views are amazing and the waterfall at the end was a picture perfect point too! On the way back from the waterfall, our awesome guide took us through a bamboo forest as well (very Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon). Afterwards, we went on a great bike ride down a mountain road and then a great picnic lunch at the end at this cute little park. Snorkeling was the perfect ending to a fun-filled day!

I loved the hike in the rain forest, it was beautiful. Our tour guide was awesome, he was very funny and made the ride to and from... Waikiki beach very enjoyable. I would recommend this tour to everyone. more
It was a great tour! I thoroughly enjoyed it!! It is nice to be albe to do 3 activities in one tour!!
The hike in the Monoa Valley was a great time. Our guide, Jeremy, made the entire experience fun and enjoyable. The bike ride po...rtion was a blast. It was not difficult for those that might be concerned. It was all downhill, very little pedaling required. Several stops offered great views. Overall, anybody, primarily first time visitors, looking for a fun activity with moderate exercise will really enjoy this tour. more
i didn't have a lot of time to spend in Hawaii, just 3 days really, and i am glad that my friends and i decided to do this on...e since it got to show us so many different parts of the island and did so many things too. totally worth the price and a lotta fun to boot! more
The tour operator and the tour company BIke Hawaii was outstanding. Mattias with Bike hawaii provided a comprehensive, active, fu...n and enjoyable experience. He was professional and exuberant to share his local knowledge with us.... Out of all the outstanding things we did in hawaii, my kids said that our day with BIke hawaii was the best... Mike is a great guide and really knows what he is talking about. He explained all about the different types of plants, trees and f...lowers, and was very nice about taking photos of all the guests. The hike is a perfect level for almost anyone. It isn't too easy and boring, but it isn't incredibly difficult as well. The waterfall at the end made for a great Kodak opportunity. The bike portion was a great, smooth ride and the views from the various vantage points were breathtaking. A definite reccomendation! more
Way beyond my expectations, this trip was one of the highlights of my trip to Hawaii. Jeremy, our guide was very informative as he... took us through the rainforest. The bike protion was a breeze and the snorkeling and sailing was very restful. I would go again in a heartbeat. more
This tour was amazing. It did everything. We loved it. My only recommendation would be to serve lunch earlier. Not eating til ...2 pm was difficult. The rainforest hike was beautiful and we loved the bamboo forest. the bike ride was easy and relaxing and the sail and snorkel couldn't be beat. We saw 6 different sea turtles and they came right up to us. I have the best pictures! We have already recommended it to tons of people before we left and will tell everyone we know about it. more

Rarely do I take the time to be a reviewer, but my family so enjoyed the bike, hike, sail, and snorkel combo that I felt compelled... to give a review. The excursion starts with a high through a beautiful rainforrest. The guides were well prepared providing boots that were definitely needed for the muddy terrain, as well as mosquito repellant( A MUST!) and ponchos. My wife is recovering from ACL surgery 8 months ago and I was concerned she would not be able to complete the hike. We were able to go at a slower pace than the main group and the guides were very accomodating. The bike ride comes next. It was very scenic and all downhill. You do mostly braking-coasting with very little peddling. Ending the day with the sail and snorkel is like icing on the cake. We got to see sea turtles up close while snorkeling! I would highly recommend this outing and would definitely do this excursion again if/when I return to Oahu! more
Our hike to manoa falls has to be the best activity i have done to this day. it's was fun, adventurous, rugged and messy; tru...ly breathtaking as well. I would recommend this activity to anyone!!! Thank you mateos and thank you hawaii activities. more
A great way to see and learn about Hawaii. The hike through the rain forest was very fun and not at all overly exerting (perfect ...for a vacationing explorer). The guide was very knowledgable and entertaining, offering a perfect mix of commentary, facts and quiet time for some quiet reflection. The bike tour was also very nice, only it was too short (well, the bottom of the hill has to come eventually). Again, the guide was knowledgable and gave us some spectacular views of Hawaii. more
We did this all day adventure with Jeremy who works with Bike Hawaii. He was great!! Full of information and some great sites were... seen. We would say to everyone to is going to Oahu this is something you should take time to do. I do though recommend that it be for older kids as the younger ones slowed the group down. But it was a fab day. Thanks Jeremy!! more
Very enjoyable, would do again. Guide, Jeremy was very knowlegable. Thanks again!
As I was the only hiker for the day, I got the VIP treatment. Jeremy was great!!- very knowledgeable too. This was the highlight o...f my trip to Honolulu. more
After suffering through hokey luaus and the miserable submarine and magic shows, we went on this tour and it absolutely made our t...rip. The rainforest hike was unique, as expected. The tourguide had everything thought out for us: we were provided with rubber boots, food, water, waist packs, and water bottles. The downhill bike portion of the day made for some great views and excellent photo ops. We took a picture of us holding hands with the entire coastline visible about 5 miles behind us and lots of ocean behind that. The highlight of the trip was the sailing and snorkeling during which we (both first timers) played among a school of fish, got up close to sea turtles, swam to the coral reef about 25 feet down, and enjoyed a trip a mile or so offshore. As we sailed back in, we saw dolphins swimming beside the boat. We saw more sea life during this trip than during the entire submarine tour. The tour guide was totally helpful and fun to talk to at the same time. We'd do t more
This was one of our favorite activities in Oahu. Matthias was our guide and he was so knowledgable about so many of the things in ...the rain forest. Knee-high rubber boots supplied by the tour are a must. . the hike goes into the rainforest ending at a waterfall and the passage out is thru bamboo. Bike ride was easy but great scenery. Mark meet us with the bikes and helmets and followed Matthias and the group down the mountain. Lunch was enjoyable and the snorkel part was relaxing and fun with Liz and Jocelyn as our boat "captains". Matthias was with us and the first one in the water to show us sea turtles and fish. Would recommend to any tourists that have all day to have fun fun fun more

Had a really great time. Jeremy made it so much fun and very interesting.
Great time, and well worth it! Even though weather and other factors were not ideal, I still had a blast!
We did the all day activity and it was terrific. My husband and I took our 17 yr old son and 10 yr old daughter with us and even ...they had a good time. My daughter liked the hike, especially the mud, and my son liked the bike ride down. We all enjoyed the snorkeling. We saw 3 giant sea turtles and a couple different types of fish. I highly recommend motion sickness pills if you aren't use to a boat ride. Our guide Jeremy was the perfect guide. I would definitely recommend this activity to families. more
Our family did the Hike, Bike, Sail and Snorkel Tour and had a great time. It gave us a great blend of three different ways to se...e the island - hiking the rain forest, biking down the mountain (getting a GREAT view of Diamond Head and Waikiki during our lunch break), and snorkeling just off the coast. Our tour guide, Jeremy, was fantastic. He was very personable and knowledgeable. My 10 year old son, enjoyed hiking and biking right by Jeremy and asking a TON of questions. And Jeremy did a superb job of answering all of his questions, never being bothered by them. My family would definitely recommend this tour (all three parts) to anyone. more
THIS WAS THE BEST TIME ON THE ISLAND. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE THAT WANTS TO SPEND THE DAY AND HAVE A GREAT TIME!
My Husband and I went Hiking and Biking. We had a blast doing both. We met really great people in the group, our guide was both kn...owledgeable and fun. We really enjoyed it and would do it again. I recommend this adventure. more
Our bike and hike tour was amazing. I wish I could rate this higher than 5 star. Matis (sorry for the spelling) did an amazing j...ob along with the other guides. Everything was done 1st class from the pickup to the drop off. I just wish on our 1st trip to Hawaii in 2008 that I would have discovered this. The views were picture perfect. We were given plenty of time to take pictures, relax, and have a great time. This was definetly the best part of the trip. more
Great way to experience Oahu. Our guide was knowledgeable and seemed to enjoy his work. Even though we didn't get to do the s...ail part, the refund process was immediate and simple. more
Our tour guide Matias (sp?) was amazing. He knew so much about the wildlife, the plants and everything else we saw, and was very h...elpful in keeping us all safe on our adventure. The tour was great and I would definitely do it again. Fantastic value for the money. more
The hike was wonderful, something different from the beach. The guide was informative and we had an enjoyable time. However, the b...ike ride was rather slow. We were accomplished bikers and had to wait many times for slow people to catch up. It would have been more fun if they had divided the group up and let the fast ones go,go,go. more
My husband and I did the hike bike tour with Jeremy and it total exceeded our expectations! Not being olympic athletes, more like ...weekend warriors, we were a little apprehensive about the hike. It was amazing! He paced it well. He stopped to let us taste some of the local plants and to point out the rare foliage in the rainforest. Our return hike included a rare trail through the dense bamboo forest. Absolutely amazing!! Finishing the day was a relaxing down hill bike ride with some of the most amazing views of the island. Would recommend this activity highly! Oh by the way, wear old hiking shoes/sneakers it is very muddy in the forest. more

If you like outdoor activites, this is the one for you. The staff was friendly, efficient and made the excursion fun for everyone.... The hike through the rainforest was beyond my expectations. Hike up to a 200 ft waterfall and back down through a bamboo forest. Great fun! Finish with a relaxing downhill ride on a mountain bike stopping for lunch on a hill overlooking waikiki and diamondhead in the background. A great change of pace from the usual beach/shopping activities on Oahu. Take my advice and do this excursion. more
My wife found this trip online and thought it would be fun. Was she ever right about that. The bike ride was outstanding. The staf...f was great, making sure that everyone in the group was comfortable with the bikes and ready for the ride. It was an easy downhill trip, but the views were awesome. After the ride and some lunch we headed off to hike. This was my favorite part of the day. The trail was a bit tougher than I expected, but it was so worth it. Mattius, our guide, made the whole trip so much fun. Hiking through the rain forest to the waterfall was just beautiful. The trail through the bamboo forest was awesome as well. I can't recommend this trip highly enough. I will be spreading the word to all of my friends who plan to visit Oahu. more
it was fun and a unique experience.
My family (wife and 2 teenagers & I) did the bike and hike tour last week. Our excursion lead was Mateais and he was very know...ledgeable, friendly and somewhat entertaining with his canned one liners that he's been working on for quite a while. The tour started with a bike ride (mostly downhill) in a very scenic neighborhood with great view of downtown and into the valley. The hilight of the tour was the hike into the rain forest. It was quite a kick being able to get lost so close to civilization on a path that not many people have been on. The hike was not strenuous and the rain forest definitly lived up to its name. Recommend you wear the rain boots they offer as its is very wet at times and muddy in parts. The path was scenic taking you through deep brish, through small streams, up to an isolated waterfall and then through a mile long stretch of a bamboo forest. The kids & I enjoyed doing something unique on Oahu and they have told me this was one of the hilights for them and some more
Book this tour - if you love the outdoors and want a 'real experience' you will not be disappointed. The bike ride is... a great way to see the sights and is very relaxing. The bikes are very easy to ride and is mostly downhill. The Hike allows you to get out of the concrete jungle and commercial centre of Waikiki, but be warned this is not a gentle 'stroll' this is a decent bush walk around 2 hrs, so make sure you read the recommended 'what to wear' list that is on the voucher. You will walk through a real rain forest and learn about the unique forest of Oahu along the way, so don't let a little mud scare you. The boat ride and snorkel is a magical way to end an action packed day. Gear is provided. It was refreshing that the boat was not packed to capacity, and again was a 'real' experience. We swam with turtles and then sailed back to the marina, this was also a great way to see Waikiki from the water. This was a very refreshing tour and a highlight of our trip. It was gre more

This was a very very fun day. We got married on Thursday and spent Saturday on this tour and couldn't have asked for a better... day. The guides were very knowledgeable and interested in our taking away a lot from the experience. A word about the exertion level, the hiking is the most strenuous part of the day, but done at a pace that almost anyone can easily match. We are in our 50's and in good shape for our age and never felt pushed or overly challenged. That said, you'll know at the end of the day you had done more work than sucking down cocktails at the hotel pool. Just do it. more
This was one of the best parts of our vacation! We had so much fun and it was very easy in terms of transportation and everything ...else. The tour guide was just amazing very insightful and even gave us more tips on what to do in our remaining days. I would definitely recommend!!! more
This was probably our favorite thing we did in Hawaii. Matteus (sp?) took us on an amazing jungle hike and even took photos along ...the way. We ended up and an awesome waterfall that you could never find on your own. The downhill bike ride was fun too, despite the pouring rain. more
Awesome day, guides were amazing and very informative, well worth the money, don't forget to take an underwater camera too
My family had a great time hiking and downhill biking. Our tour guide, Josh (a high school teacher), was very helpful and informat...ive. We'll do again next time visiting Oahu. Thank you. more
So much fun. Our guide was fabulous. He knew everything Hawaii related. All the activities were amazing. And all we had to do ...was show up and participate. I'd recommend this tour to anyone who wants an active Hawaii experience. I learned so much on our hike. more
These guys a re amazing! Jeremy picked us up on time, drove safely to get us to the top of the mountain, and then guided us down b...efore feeding us a tasty and healthy lunch, and the. Took us us to the most amazing rainforest I have ever seen. There was no other hikers to have to negotiate around! It was a highlight of our trip! A must do in Oahu. My parents and Aunty and uncle were with us and loved it also. We could stop and take as many photos as we wanted because there is no rush! more
Whole day excursion, Was wonderful! Our guide Terii was very informative about things of Hawaii and he was with us the whole day a...ble to answer questions about most anything ;) more
We had an incredible time during our adventure! Our guide, Jeremy, was very knowledgable about Hawaii and patient with slower patr...ons. 100% would recommend this to everyone! more
Amazing experience! My dad and I did this adventure. You can really appreciate the nature of the hike. It was a lot of obstaclew...s getting around, but there's a lot you can see that you cant see anywhere else. I got tons of misquito bites during the hike, but so worth it! Matt was our guide and was very kind and knowledgeable. The bike trail was beautiful! Was able to see the whole view of Waikiki. more
This was the highlight of my vacation in Oahu. It was very well organized. We were a group of about 7 adults and 5 kids (mostly 9 ...year old)). The van picked us up on time and drove us to a privately owned rain-forest. Our tour-guide was extremely knowledgeable and patient. The hike wouldn't have been the same without his interesting facts. The hike itself was easy (even for the kids) but can get slippery/muddy. I would recommend using the rainboots they offered. The time went by fast; it was a nice break to be outside in a totally shaded area. We were later joined by more kids (12 kids total) and grown ups for the downhill bike ride. At first it seemed intimidating, but the tour guides did an excellent job in making sure we were safe (there was a van behind the group that alerted the guide upfront if any cars were coming by). The lunch provided (sandwiches) was delicious. The snorkeling part was my least favorite (for personal reasons...I just couldn't get the hang of it...first timer). I would recommend wearing the swimsuits underneath the hike/bike clothes, that way you don't have to change on the boat (crammed). more
We really enjoyed all activities. Our guide Jeremy was informative and made the day very enjoyable. Would recommend the hike bik...e sail snorkel. All Places interesting and gave us different views of Oahu more
Best tour we have done! On time and very educational!
This excursions was excellent. We did the hike and the bike ride. I wish the waterfall actually had some water falling down but ...that was beyond the control of the guides. The bike ride was amazing and the lunch view was breath taking. more
Mike was brilliant, guiding us safely down the mountain on the bikes and then staying in the cool ocean until all of us were out o...f the water and finished snorkelling. Would happily recommend this activty to family and friends. Next time we will also do the hike. more
Mike was an excellent guide. I have been to Hawaii several times for work and, in this case, had stayed an extra weekend with my ...wife. We had a great time. Mike was very knowledgable of the local geological history and botanical environment. We even got to see a dart frog which my local friends from Hawaii were amazed that we got to experience that. And the bike ride was a great finish to the day. The hike was definitely muddy but worth slogging through the bamboo to get to the waterfall. more
We did the hike/bike/sail/snorkel and had one of the best days of our entire time on the island! Our guide was EXTREMELY knowledge...able and loved our entire tour! more
We all had a wonderful time and learned a lot about the island, plants and the culture of Oahu with Terry. We highly recommend the... trip. It is a rustic hike to the beautiful waterfall, but very worth the hike, even in the rain and mud And our bike ride down the mountain had gorgeous scenery and was wind through your hair fun. We saw several sea turtles and different varieties of fish on the sail and snorkel on Captain Krash's catamaran. He was fun to sail with and Rudolph was very knowledgeable about the snorkeling as well as giving helpful knowledge about the island and city. more
We loved the downhill biking! It went by really quick, but we did enjoyed it. Wouldn't recommend it on its own, since it went... by so quick. But in combination with the snorkelling was fantastic! Guides are very knowledgeable and respectful of the area. Swimming with turtles was a unique experience! more
This was a great adventure. Plan for the better part of the day. The hike seems odd at first because you start in a neighborhood.... But once you are on the path it is a beautiful journey. It was a it rushed which was disappointing as it was hard to enjoy the surroundings and go fast. The bike ride was a lot of fun with awesome views of Diamond Head and Waikiki. The last part, snorkeling with Sea Turtles, was the absolute best. They are amazing creatures and would surface right next to us. When scheduling, ask for Elon. He did a great job for our group. Also, Terrii was an excellent tour guide when he joined us. more
This tour was worth every penny on its own, but our guide ELON made it even better! We were picked up on time and taken up into... the hills of Manoa Valley and went on a hike in the rain forest all the way to the waterfall and back. Hike was not super difficult, but definitely wear shoes (no flip flops). Next part of the tour was lunch up on Mt Tantalus and then a 30 minute downhill bike ride down the mountain. We stopped halfway down for a pretty nice photo op. The views were amazing! Must point out that the staff made sure we were very safe on the downhill bike ride. Once we got to the bottom, we were take to the marina, where we boarded a catamaran and went out to the Pacific and snorkelled at the "turtle cleaning station" for about an hour. We saw about 4 or 5 turtles and a ton of fish. Snorkel boat also had sodas and snacks. We were returned to our hotel around 5pm after a full day adventure. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and HUGE thank you to Elon!!!!!! more
Loved our guides...well informed and enjoyable. Suggestions...half sandwich not enough. Also the activities should be more accur...ately described regarding difficulty. Too difficult for 1 of our party. Also children under 10 should not be included as they hold up the progress of the group especially in the bike. more
The whole adventure was excellent. The only tip i want to make for future hikers is to make sure you apply extra mosquito repelle...nt on your hike. Besides that, this is a must recommend. more
I want to thank you for a wonderful excursion. My nephew and I did the bike, sail, and snorkel in August. Vacationing with a 12 ...year old and keeping him entertained was not easy, but this trip was PERFECT. He really enjoyed the activities and the guides were thoughtful, creating a safe environment for him. I personally enjoyed seeing the honu! Hopefully, we can do it again with the entire family next year. Thank you again! more
The trio combination of snorkeling, hiking and biking was unique. Our favoriate part of the day was the hike through the rain for...est and snorkeling. The biking was OK but not at all challenging; good for the scenic view only. The snorkeling was OK, but could have been better if there was more to see i.e. aquatic life beyond the turtle. We also found it to be a bit intimidating to snorkel in the ocean, which was rather rough that day. We have snorkeled in the past in more protected areas such as coves and bays, and were anticipating something similar. Overall, if we could do it again, we would chose the hike, skip the biking and only do snorkeling within a contained area. Thank you. more
The rainforest hike was an absolute "must see"! Our tour guides were very knowledgeable.
Staff is very friendly. Jeremy and Kalani (I prob spelled his name wrong) were very knowledgeable, helpful. There was and older ge...ntleman on the hike who had issues with heat exhaustion, and Jeremy even took off his t-shirt to help the man, that maybe shouldn't have been on the hike in the first place. It was great that we had the same two guides during throughout all three excursions. There are only two things they don't tell you before you go. One is that the hike is a real hike, not just a stroll through the woods, and bit challenging for someone who would become winded from climbing stairs. lol We were able to do the hike with no problems, but its just a word of advise. Second there is only one port-a-potty available at the beginning of the day, so make sure you go before it starts. But don't worry you will sweat out most of the water lol. You won't have access to another bathroom until the start of the snorkel. Other than those few surprises we had a wonderful time and everythi more
Great day of events. For me the sailing portion made the day very long. I would not recommend all three in the future. The hi...ke and biking experience was awesome. Some of the guides on the boat were not as friendly or welcoming as I experienced on my other excursions. Kind of put a damper on an otherwise good experience. more
If you only have time to do one hike while in Hawaii, I suggest this one. Hiking through a rainforrest is something you'll ne...ver forget. Part of the hike is on a path and part of it your guide is creating for you, Our guide Mattias is very fun and knew all about the history of the area. The bike ride was an adventure and thank God DOWN HILL! Your so busy concentrating on the road you don't get to see much of your surroundings, however we did stop for lunch at a beautiful overlook of the city. This adventure is highly recommended, but only if you don't mind a little mud. Thanks for the good time!!! more
This tour would have gotten 5 stars but for the tour guide whom we thought was not very good. It's a 6 hour tour, comprising... a hike through the jungle to Manoa Falls, and a bike down the Tantalus road with the spectacular views of Honolulu. Pickup: was on time and easy in a minibus. Boots: We had to prebook boots to trek the muddy trail, I booked boots from Australia (different size to US) and asked co. to check my sizings. Mattias, the guide, threw boots off car roof and random people took them to try. He didn't know whos boots were whos. Two of my family's boots were split letting water and mud in, defeating the purpose. My boots were taken by someone else, and I was left with too small boots. Mattias said I didn't book 'womens' size. ?? huh??and was unconcerned with my problem. Trail: We were given water and trail mix, and a waist bag, and insect spray, which I thought was great. The trail was on private land and The jungle walk was lovely. It was extremely muddy, but had more
I wish there had been a more specific statement regarding the hike that you may get very muddy! They did have rain boots but you n...eeded to have high socks so you wouldn't get blisters. I didn't have the socks so ended up wearing my tennis shoes - there was no avoiding the mud - I had mud up to my knees - mainly from splashing - mud wasn't that deep. There were lovely flowers and going in the midst of a banboo forest was amazing. We did see a poisonous tree frog - beautiful bright green and black. The bike ride was a breeze literally and the half way stopping point has an amazing view of Honolulu! The catamaran was a lot of fun - they knew exactly where the turtles come to get cleaned up by the fish - we saw 3 different sized turtles. more
I didn't know what to expect when I booked this tour since I was going solo. The staff is very friendly and on time. The firs...t part of the tour is the hike up the Manoa valley 5 miles south of Waikiki. Highly recommended to wear long sleeves and pants if you don't like mosquitoe bites. The hike itself is fairly easy. Very doable for any age. The trip to the waterfalls itself is more enjoyable than when you get there. The second part of the tour is the 5 mike downhill bike ride. I know, it sounds more daunting than it is. I haven't bike for almost 20 years but got the hang of it right away. You won't really need to pedal much as it is mostly downhill, rather you will need to use your brakes a lot. Fantastic view of downtown Waikiki and Diamond head crater. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for some adventure outside of the beach. Great experience!!! more
Enjoyed getting off the beaten track, the hike is fairly easy, but expect to get a little muddy. The bike ride takes you up into t...he hills above the city so you get a great view out over Waikiki and Diamond head. more
this day out is well worth it. our guide Terii was very enthusatic about Hawaii its culture, history, forna etc. The highlight wou...ld have to be swimming with the turtles at the end. The day is extremely organised, good food, heaps of snacks etc. more
Fantastic afternoon, so lovely to experience more than just the hustle and bustle of downtown Wakiki. Extremely good service, fri...endly and very attentive. Would recommend to all. more
Mike, our tour guide was very informative and made the trip exciting for us. My husband and I did not finish all three activit...ies due to too much sun exposure. It was exhausting. We did not go snorkeling, however, the hike was interesting (I'm not an outdoorsy person) and the downhill bike was the our personal favorite. Next time, we will do it again, but I can go without the hike. more
This was a lot fun and a good way to see different part of Ohau quickly. The hike through the rain forest to the waterfall was int...eresting. There were things you don't see in other parts of the world. It is not an easy hike. Be prepared for strenuous activity. The bike ride makes up for it. It is all down hill, beautiful views and a wonderful spot to stop, eat and take in the view. The Bike Hawaii staff are outstanding. They quickly become friends and are genuinely focused on your enjoyment and safety. The last experience, swimming with sea turtles was just the best. The turtles are not afraid of humans and will surface next to you. You can't touch them but one came so close it almost touched me. We stayed out there a long time and really got to enjoy them. This was a great day and lot of fun. It is an all day experience so plan for it. more
I really enjoyed this fun filled active day! Our tour guide, Terry, was so knowledgeable as he described the botany in the Rain Fo...rest. He was easy going and entertaining. He took me to where the sea turtles were swimming and I enjoyed it immensely when a turtle came alongside of me and we swam together as she took 3 big gulps of air before diving down. What an honor to have experienced this beautiful living being! A super highlight of my entire Hawaiian trip!! Thank you Terry! more
Beautiful and interesting hike through the lush rainforest but not at all physically challenging. Really enjoyed the hike but the ...downhill bike part was so boring! The guides pretty much wrapped us in cotton wool, they wouldn't let us go any faster than 5 miles (and it was purely downhill road, no cycling required!), and they kept stopping us for one reason or another. I'd recommend the tour though, the scenery was great and the guides knowledgeable and nice. more
