You will be picked up from your hotel in Oporto for a full day trip to Santiago of Compostela. Santiago of Compostela, with its impressive Cathedral, is one of the oldest pilgrimage sites in the world through the famous 'Caminhos de Santiago'.
Once in Santiago, you will have a free time to attend a Pilgrim Mass, visit the amazing Cathedral, the reputed burial place of Saint James the Great, one of the apostles of Jesus Christ and the beautiful Historical Centre designated as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. You can also lunch and do some shopping there.
In the afternoon, you will go to Valenca do Minho, also known as the fortress town of the city and one of the best frontiers of Portugal. Here you will visit the historic center, which is located on the top of a mount over the river Minho, and the medieval walls.
At the end of your tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel.
