You will be picked up from your hotel in Oporto for a full day tour to Douro. By unique landscapes of mountains and rivers, we will discover sights and traditions that represent the faith of the People.
Discover S.Gonçalo Church and convent, a church classified as a National Monument, located in Amarante on the banks of the river.
Then, go to Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, on the top of the hill St. Stephen, which is one of the pilgrimage churches. This is an impressive church with its imposing baroque staircase with 686 steps. Taste few local products and then, you will stop at Lamego for lunch by the magnificent panorama over the River Douro and visit the slopes of the mountain where the famous Portuguese Port wine originated.
You will end the tour after a guided visit of the winery of Quinta do Tedo. There, enjoy a Porto wine tasting.
At the end of your tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel.
