Experience the magical fjords of Norway on a 8 day adventure in some of the world's most spectacular natural settings. A land of contrasts, discover what Norway has to offer.
Upon arrival, collect your car and drive to the capital of Norway, Oslo.
Scandinavia's oldest capital city, Oslo has been a major trading port for over a millennium with its harbor packed with cruise ships to shrimp boats. A bustling city surrounded by the beauty of Oslofjord and green forest, take a walk along the streets and explore the home of the royal family. Explore Oslo's main streets, such as Karl Johan, and its many theaters, shops, bars and cafes.

Drive along Tyrifjorden and cross at Begnadalen on the way to Fagernes. Visit Valdres Folk Museum, an open-air folk museum in Fagernes, and browse through its impressive collection of more than 70 houses portraying the story of Norwegian history and evolution.
Then, head towards the road that passes between Hemsedal and Hallingdal through the little village of Gol to Gelio. Continue through the Hardangervidda plateau and admire the stunning Vøringfoss Waterfall along the way.

Cross the bridge from Brimnes to Bruravik on the way to Bergen, a city between 7 hills. Take in the old Hanseatic area, part of the UNESCO's World Heritage List, with well preserved wooden houses. Experience the beauty, culture and history of Bergen by strolling around its Fish Market with a wide selection of seafood stalls selling delightful treats and take a funicular up to the top of Mt. Floien to enjoy astonishing panoramic views over the city.

Start the day on the route to Gudvangen, a tiny little village situated in the heart of the fjords. From there, embark on a 2 hour cruise to Flåm on the Sognefjord and its narrowest stretch, the Nærøyfjord.
Keep driving along the fjord shore, two other ferries between Fodnes and Mannheller, then Hella and Dragsvik taking you to your destination.

Journey towards north along the Sognefjord and through Førde. Stop on your way to Briksdal and marvel at the glacier before reaching the village of Loen.
Overnight in hotel Alexandra or similar.
Leave in direction of Geiranger for a cruise on the Geirangerfjord, one of Norway's most narrow and impressive fjords in Norway, with waterfalls like Seven Sisters and Bridal Veil Falls and farms, included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Then, take the ferry between Eidsdal and Linge to reach the famous route of Trolls, Trollstigen, with 11 sharp curves along the steep mountain.
Continue towards Vinstra and the Lillehammer region.
Overnight in hotel Fefor or similar.
Head towards Lillehammer, the Olympic City of 1994. Wander around the city and see the famous Olympic Ski Jumping Hill, the open-air museum of Maihaugen. Continue to Oslo along the big lake Mjøa.
Upon arrival in Oslo, visit the notable Vigeland Sculpture Park, an impressive sculpture park with 212 sculptures by Gustav Vigeland and a national symbol, Arkehus Fortress. Tour around Bygdøy peninsula, a lovely countryside peninsula with great nautical history, and visit the Viking Museum with its three well-preserved long-ships and the Fram Museum exhibiting ships used for polar expedition.
