What To Expect
Be prepared to be amazed by Vermilion Cliffs National Monument!
Enjoy a fantastic hike in this magnificent place, surrounded by breathtaking cliffs and unique, colorful rock formations. This is an exceptional location to explore and is the highlight of any trip in the southwest canyon country.
Though it might be very impressive, this is an extremely delicate area and the fragile fin like rocks can be easily damaged by the careless hiker. Follow your guide who will show you the best areas for both the hiker as well as the photographer. You will get to explore several amazing photographic areas, and you are sure to leave with many framable images.
Currently this is a permit free area as the difficulty of finding it as well as the road conditions make it hard on anyone unskilled in off road navigation. White Pocket is definitely a region of incredible geology and scenery you will not find anywhere else!
