What To Expect
At the Valley Station, viewpoints and a gift shop can be explored, but the adventure starts as you board the tram cars at the Valley Station at an elevation of 2,643 feet and begin the journey through five unique life zones to the Mountain Station at an elevation of 8,516 feet. It's like taking a trip from Mexico to Alaska in just minutes!
Continue your adventure at the Mountain Station which features viewpoints, Peaks Restaurant, Pines Café, Lookout Lounge gift shop, natural history exhibits and a theater showing two documentary style films on the history of the Tramway and the State Park.
Enjoy the 14,000 acre Mt. San Jacinto State Park and Wilderness Area with its 54 miles of hiking trails, picnic areas, primitive campgrounds, Ranger Station and Adventure Center.

Tram's Adventure Center is open mid-November through mid-April, snow conditions permitting. Rentals for for snowshoe and cross-country ski are available.
Restaurants are open daily for lunch and dinner.
The parking fee for cars and vans is USD 5.00 per car/van.
