What To Expect
We will discover the fabulous wonders of the rest of Tahiti. Watch a wonderful waterfall and discover numerous tropical flowers as our guide tells you about the history of Tahiti and its inhabitants.
Visit Arahurahu, the only marae (an ancient temple or meeting place) in all of Polynesia that has been fully restore, and maintained like a museum. Next, we will stop at Vaipahi Garden, a place where you will see a little waterfall, some endemic Tahitian flowers, trees and other plants.
Continue to Venus Point, situated in the north on the edge of Matavai Bay, where European navigators landed. James Cook gave the name Venus in memory of his scientific trip to observe the planet.
Finally, visit Taharaa Lookout, also known as the One Tree Hill of the Taharaa. This lookout point gives you a spectacular 360 degree view of part of Tahiti and Moorea.
